A gold plated Rodimus? Couldn't they do somethin a little better than that? :tfhuh

The idea of a Primus figure makes my bank account shrink just thinking about it!! I'm hoping that Transformers:Cybertron will center around some big non-Dark God threat to Primus himself; thus we the fans will get a giant expensive bot to go along with Unicron and E. Omega Supreme/Sentinel on the largest shelf in our collections.

guys, while I do support a Primus figure, I don't think it should be planet cybertron.

Do you know how boring of a toy that would be for kids? Just a ball with lines on it...at least Unicron is a vehicle that travels through space and devours planets with his giant mouth, but Cybertron? That would just be an unfun toy, on the lines of the Transforming skyscraper in the film "Big" that Tom Hanks' character spoke up against....

Why not. We all know that that's what he is. I'm thinking that we could have his chest look somewhat like a big spark with wires and stuff. And his head acknowledges your average Prime figure. You know what I mean, the mouth plate, the antenna, the grey diamond like thing on the forehead and a somewhat prominent browline. His feet could be the "vents", and his hands are just stored away for planet mode. And with the planet mode, the detail should look like a populated planet, not just a planet that is barren of life like Unicron. His Sonic Canyons could become the "equator". And it should also come with an Alpha Trion figure, since he's the guardian of the Vector Sigma computer. And it can be a deluxe size figure. And since we don't know what his alt mode is, the A.T. figure can have more engineering room for poseability, and the sort. That would be awsome.

I have to agree with BC *chest pains*

we are forgetting that this a toy line for kids, and hastak is always trying to attract new customrers, not keep us (we are sheep we buy anything transformers) since cybertron is a peaceful planet, no weapons array (if there was there would be no need for transformers) The primus toy would be on the level of a giant metal RockLord (repeating myself) we'd buy it, but that would not get them off the shelves at christmas time, especially at the 50 dollar price point. I know cause I am still mad about the Dora's Talking House I bought for my daughter this year, 50 dollar toys suck. I doubt we see too many more tf's at that pricepoint (mainstream line anyway)

and that astral primus is lame, cause rodimus prime is a lame toy, even if it was solid 24 carat gold I wouldnt want it

(on second thought *fires up smelter*)

Well, the deal is that Primus doesn't look like Optimus. Optimus Prime is a makeshift repair done to an injured robot, it's not the intended look of an autobot leader. The faceplate and helmet are actually the result of repairs. Rodimus/Hotrod is the true face of Primus...The thing is that Optimus was intended to be the first leader who DIDN'T look like Primus...that's why he's special, when Hotrod is just another Primus remake who was destined to lead. Perhaps Optimus Prime, like Primal, was never meant to lead or be a hero, but managed it anyhow by chance and heart, faith, and victory...

The 'Gold-Platded' Rodimus is fairly accurate to who and what Primus is supposed to be, he's just taking a mortal form.

this was the Prime Befor Optimus in the toon

Is that G1 or Armada/Energon?

If they did make a Primus toy like that, he'd have to be golden, since grey would be a bit to bland for a GOD OF LIGHT. >_>
