Spike TV has announced the nominees for their "Scream 2009" awards with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen nabbing five nominations, reports Entertainment News International. The giant robot film nabbed nominees in the "Ultimate Scream," "Best Science Fiction Movie," "Best Sequel," and "Best Director" categories. Meanwhile, Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox grabbed nominations in the "Best Actor In a Science Fiction Movie or TV Show" and "Best Actress In a Science Fiction Movie or TV Show" (we'll let you figure out which one fits in which). Fans can vote on their favorites scream.spike.com between now and Saturday, October 17.

Anywho, I'll vote RoTF for Ultimate Scream, so long as it has to do with Shia LaBouf screaming like a little girl. If not..well, damn. I voted anyhow.

Ah! Fixed! Thanks!

In 2007 it was easy just to keep clicking Transformers, but Watchmen...

If they chose the forrest fight for best fight till the death, well OK but the fight with The Fallen just sucked.

Man im pissed, Transformers deserves to win best F/X, but Ppl fucking gave me 3 thumbs down sayin Harry Potter Should win....HELL NO!!!!! TRANSFORMERS FTW

If District 9 was any of the voting options, I would of voted it over Transformers, with the exception of Shia's little girl-ish scream.

cool at least RoTF got nominated for something

Don't get me wrong, I love the movie! But considering all the negative reviews, I'm betting it'll be getting some nominations...

oh, good i thought this was about to turn into a thread for bashing rotf(we already have those btw) but yeah, i see what you mean, i wouldn't be surprised but the thing is, most average movie goers loved it, so it seems like an unstoppable force is meeting an immovable object when it comes to these opposing views
