wow, this is quite ridiculous.

i'm sorry but i'd rather get more construction vehicles than that garbage we saw at sdcc.. i mean.. not one of those new characters alt modes look like real life vehicles.. which, for me, is part of the appeal to the line.

i'm pretty sure that earlier they said they weren't giving devastators components bot modes because they would all be released as various deluxe and voyager figures.

so if they knew they would be making other versions of each component.. why not give us a red rampage and a white demolishor??

or at least give us a bigger, more accurate devastator with the correct number of components.. hell i'd even settle for 7 components instead of the movie accurate 8.. i mean i have a big problem with power up prime almost bring as tall as devastator.

man they really screwed up when it comes to anything devastator, there's so much they could've done. but no, we get four individual bots and a tiny inaccurate mega zord.

A-freakin-MEN! I'm not interested in any of the movie junk I saw at SDCC! Most of that stuff wasn't even in the movie...so why label it movie...wtf?!? Put it in another line...why junk up the movie line with non-movie figures this time around, when there were plenty of characters in ROTF to build upon?! Money? Again, there were plenty of characters in ROTF...made-up movie characters are pointless, IMO. :shrug

Shouldn't the topic title be changed to "Hasbro Dodges your Burning Questions"?

*sighs*

This is why I hate being at the mercy of a company like Hasbro. Yes there were a few cool toys seen at SDCC, but I was really hoping for a Scrapper and an Overload, *at least*!

It just seems that we effectively have no good toys to look forward to in the next year besides the supposed last Animated toys (for those of us who like the line) and maybe one or two from the "RotF" line.

Thanks the Gods that there are a plethora of older lines to collect from. Maybe I can track down a cheap RiD Prime....

It's odd when you think about it...seems as though Hasbro has developed A.D.D., even moreso than the fandom. They can't commit to any series for any significant amount of time! :doh

Blame the writers, who made the movie Constructicons what they are, for the lack of a complete set of toys. If they had been G1 like, not in exact for but in the same function, Hasbro would have made regular toys of the movie Constructicons.

While the writers are responsible for what we saw in the theater, Hasbro is responsible for making the decision to discontinue a figure that was onscreen (and that has a concept rendering that everyone's seen). At this point, it just feels like Hasbro is doing whatever they want to...which is their prerogative, but that makes them ultimately to blame for this particular decision. :shrug

I think they invested to much into Supreme Devastator when they should have spent on making other figures...

THIS

I bet they're lying and we WILL get the rest of the constructicons as well as they have plans for them (like they previously said at BotCon) but cant release the info on them so tell us no but in time we will get the whole team as seperate bots OR Takara is still working on them. :shrug

Thus i could be VERY wrong.

lame Hasbro lame

So many companies hold so many things secret that don't make sense.

Which toys are coming out does NOT need to be secret!

Precisely! I think they feel that to create the rest of the Constructicon figures would threaten, as well as disadvantage, the Supreme figure...and they're not willing to take that chance (at least not at this point in the game). I hate being a conspiracy theorist...but it's like they know we're all trying to figure out a better customization than that Supreme piece of garbage! :schin

THIS is why I'm concerned that leader Starscream won't actually come out if they're really pushing for fall 2010.

Hasbro will be onto something else by then. Especially if there really aren't a any more new movie characters planned that actually appear in the movie.

Maybe we'll get lucky and it will show up as some kind of Takara exclusive and have a real paintjob.
