Bootleg Go-bots

Recommended Posts

Hasbro has the Copyrights to Machine RoboT RESCUE, so Bandai will have to change the name

Actually, If your talking about what I think you are, they actually are knock offs of a toy line called Zybots.

Heh, some of the Go-bots were quite good, especially those of the mold form like Baron Von Joy (okay the name sucks, but the mold is quite good and was articulated while most TF's were bricks at that time).

I have the one thats an army Jeep, and both a blue and orange version of the dune buggy. Both arent bad figures. But these are some of the lone standouts that way. Its been said before, but whats REALLY pathetic is that the Jeep guy looks better than my G1 Hound in robot mode.

I know whut the Zybots look like and it's a weird name. I'll go by Toy Liquidators tonight and pick up one and post the front and back because it features the whole line and >snicker< transform instructions.

I have about 25 Go-bots and Jeeper, the jeep that gave Hound a run for it's money, is probably on of the better ones in the line.

I seem to remember something about gobots being human brains in robot bodies, or something to that effect... am i completely out of my mind or does anyone else remember that?

also - when i was a wee lad, i chose tf over gobots cuz i liked the way tfs sounded when they fell. like a few tons of metal, as opposed to garbage cans. though Shrapnel did sound like a gobot when he fell in the movie, post-Blitzwing's volley...

One word, nope.

They had their own cybertron like planet and everything, the one looking like a chewed apple.
