I checked two of the local Wal-marts in my area and they are still $63.62 :tdown

Crap. I used to live in Cary. They're still full price at the Chapel Hill Wal-Mart ... I guess I'll be making a trip to Cary tomorrow afternoon.

There is absolutly slim to no Masterpieces where I come from. Probably the worst selection in the world when it comes to getting lots of the new figures.

Yo DKFD, if you do go to Cary and they still have cheap 20th Primes, could you pick up an extra one for me? I'll send $30. That would cover Prime, shipping to Jersey, and $10 for yourself...Pretty please with energon sprinkles on top? I emailed Shadow Prime with my offer, but he never got back to me...

I would just wish he showed up in stores here.

I plan to pick up every single one they have ... I have a few places they could go around first (my brother and my friend who has an upcoming b'day who I know wants one). If I still have enough to go around then I'll be in touch. I'm leaving for Cary in a few minutes.

Count yourselves lucky we’re unlikely to ever see the light of day of the 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime here in the UK. So far I've only found 2 comic shops here that have the Jap version but they're priced between £75-90 (Thats about $135-162) which is a bit steep for me.

Sorry kids, all of the Primes in Cary were gone. It sucks because I was over there two weeks ago. Oh well, at least I still have the 20th Prime I bought when they were released early this year.

There's a wal-mart in Va Beach that has 'em for 49.97, or at least they did a week ago. I don't think the collector market is that heavy around here, as I keep seeing the same Alt. Dead End on the shelf at a few Kmarts for weeks at a time. After I got my first two, from 2 different Kmarts, (which were the only ones in town ANYWHERE, I hit 9 stores looking for the first one I got.) about a week later, each Kmart had either one or two Dead Ends, and an ample supply of Hounds and Bluestreaks. Most of them still do. Alas, all of them are still ranging from 21 to 24 bucks a piece... Anyway, my point is there should still be a few Optimuses at the WalMart over off General Booth / Dam Neck area for 49.97. It's better than 63.00...
