Right, we all know that G1 was riddled with errors, I suppose later series might've suffered too but G1 really had it bad.

 

So, what are the worst, or well best ones you can think of, or that you remember dearly? Be they animated errors, or things happening that are just wrong.

 

I always remember the "Prime's third arm" one, you know where one of his arms is acting as a sentry cannon, yet he mysteriously is seen with two arms at the same time!

 

As for things that just shouldn't happen, I'll refer to the animated movie. Devastator combing *in* Astrotrain!? Um....no. Same goes for Galvatron fitting in Cyclonus. Having a smaller alt. mode is fine, but a bigger alt mode, one big enough to carry a load of Cons. No, I just can't accept it. Same goes for certain scenes where you can see Bruticus getting inside Blast Off in the series.

At the end of the rebirth part 3 you can see Bumblebee AND Goldbug both celebrating

First episode when the decepticons attacked the ark. Prime told everyone to get ready then it looped back to him in megatrons voice telling the decepticons to attack

The guy on the roof of the house, while they're trying to divert the flood, during the More Than Meets The Eye miniseries. The one wearing a dress. ...Was the best, actually. :tflaugh

When the cavemen came through the time rift in Dinobot island, and the one got all excited about the $1000+ pearls in the window of a 5&10.

This isn't the worst but it's one of my favorites. In one of the last episodes, cant remember what its called but Blitzwing realizes that Galvatron is crazy and is about to kill them all when he becomes in league with the Quints. During one scene, Galvatron and his troops attack some Autobots, and among them is Green Shockwave.

 

Something about a Constructicon-ish Shockwave made me giggle lol.

Actualy, those eps were sent to Akom (if you're refering to The Core, City of Steel and The Autobot Run. If not, then I have no Fraking clue what the hell you mean).

 

Akom (While producing (to me at the very least) more fluid animation then Toei (The movie and Atlantis Arise are, of course, amonge the latter's best work on the series), has made mistakes in their animation. An example of this- Cracks appearing on Scavenger's escavator arm instead of the ground that he's hitting in City of Steel. Plus there's the Bumblebee/Goldbug mistake in the Rebirth.

 

But to me, I find those to be the common animation mistake that any company could make and besides, the show was made on an extremely rushed shedule for it to be released with the toyline...

 

For me though, the worst animation mistakes for me are:

 

1. Two primes seen in the same scene

2. The constent insignia change (various eps made by either Toei or Akom)

3. The Constructicons (Not the robots themselves, their origin)

4. Prime saying Megs line as soon as he finishes his own line (MTMTE part 1)

5. SS, Skywarp and Thundercracker in different colors (Different episodes)

6. Rumble AND Frenzy are red (The Movie)

7. Devastator's green chestplate (again, the movie)

8. Carnage in C-Minor (I mean come on, what was Akom on when they were doing this episode?)

9. This:

 

10. Bumblebee and Nitro getting fused onto the toy Spaceship the Autobots boarded (Childs Play)

11. The Backgrounds being bigger then they should be. In fact, all of B.O.T. was crap from the get go. Who the hell came up with the idea of making a robot with the brain of Brawl in the the first place?

12. This prime example of coloring misshaps from Five Faces of Darkness part 4:

Even I can't discribe what I think about it.

14. Bruticus appearing in the croud of combaticons (FFoD part 3)

and 15. Kup driving backwards in Starscream's Ghost.

 

There you have it. What I think are the most glaring (and sometimes funny) mistakes of G1. Of course there are more I could talk about, but I'd be typing all night if I did.

To be fair, the miscolors could be retconned into new characters. :tflaugh Who wouldn't want a Rodimus Slag or a Grim-whoeverthehellheis?!
