The Ion Pulls Cannon is Ironhide’s new formidable weapon. Not only is it capable of firing his choice of liquid chemicals up to 1000 feet, as was his old rifle, but it now can fire a large super-condensed stream of charged ions via its newly designed I-Shells.

 

Prose

-At full strength the I-beam is immensely powerful. The condensed ions not only do a considerable amount of concussive damage physically, (i.e. trillions of ions smashing into a con’s armor at an incredible rate of speed) but the electron field created wreaks havoc on the con’s internal systems, knocking your average con out of action, and even causing permanent stasis-lock in smaller mechs.

 

-The cannon is also equipped with an independent targeting “smart� eye, allowing for greater accuracy at farther distances.

 

Cons

-The cannon only comes with two settings, half and full strength. Each I-Shell only contains enough super-condensed ions for one blast at full strength. The canon can hold five cylinders at a time, and there are only ten slots for reserve-ammo (mounted behind the roof/shield). In half of these slots Hide carries the canisters of other chemicals the cannon is capable of firing (superheated liquid metal, a self-igniting pertrochemical spray, and liquid nitrogen, among ohters). That leaves Ironhide with only ten shots at full power and twenty at half.

 

-Because of the immense energy output and recoil of trillions of highly charged, densely compact ions leaving the barrel at high speed, Ironhide must stop movement and brace himself before firing the cannon at full power. Failure to do so would bring even big bots like Ironhide to the earth in a heap.

 

-For the same reason only a small number of bots can handle firing the weapon, even at half strength.

 

-Also, for that reason, accuracy wile rapped firing (even with the smart eye) is nearly impossible.

Not a problem, I'm 22, I'v been drawing and designing (playing with) toys since I can remember. I've only taken two actual drawing classes in high school (Comic book art Twice) A few painting classes in College, a class in Photshop and one in Illustrator, and am now taking classes on softimage XSI 4. And, yes I do feel that I'v been blessed very much.
