Today I was at TRU and i purchased a bunch of stuff, like $210.00 worth of ROTF and movie 1 toys armada unicron and universe countdown, i was stoked when i seen the ROTF legends class on the rack, and i had some money at the time what could go wrong???? as i enter the payment process (mind you i bought the whole lot of legends class on the rack=$58.00 worth??@5.99 a piece)the figure was rejected by the computer and i was allowed to buy a ROTF costume for my son and MR potato head ROTF BB, and also a color book, but nothing else , and i even had a rewards card that ties into buying everything at toys r us , so I AM PISSED AND SOMEBODY NEEDS TO GIVE OUT GIFT CARDS for having the figs put out too early , AND HAVING A PERSON LIKE ME A GOOD FAN READY TO BUY TO BE SHOT DOWN.........PLEASE VENT ON THIS THREAD IF TRU FAULTED U 2

But thats not just TRU, it's Walmart too. I had no trouble buying Sideswipe and Rampage at Target today.

All the stuff seems to be slowly trickling into Target. Got Bumble Spud yesterday and saw the Walkie Talkies. Nothing else. I'll have a chance to go again Thursday afternoon. After that, Saturday night/Sunday morning is ROTF time for me.

Same here I check TRU since its right by target where I live, but I think my main store will definitely be target, I just wish we had a Target super center their food is cheaper than Walmart too. :eek

seems like your the only one to "breakdown" the situation! i am just anthonyprime with money ready to buy what i want- if you HAVE EVER BEEN in customer service, the customer is not always right, but he does help us through times like this with the profits, and secondly-you are alone on the subject of getting over myself:}

My advice, for ANYONE to take you seriously:

 

Use the "Enter" key more often. Use it after completing a major idea. It makes everything easier to read. This post will be my example.

 

Read what you write before clicking "add reply" or "post topic." If you hear a little voice in your head that says "If someone else posted this, I'd make fun of them or at least snigger uncontrollably," either rewrite what you're trying to say so it's easy to understand or change your opinion to one that you can respect.

 

Lurk more. I hate it when 4-channers, those FUCKING bastards, say it, but it REALLY is something everyone should do on a forum before they start posting all the time. Figure out the kinds of things that are both accepted and wanted in the community, and figure out the kinds of things the community doesn't want.

Example:

I don't have a problem with scalpers, I actually like them quite a bit. However, this community abhors them, so I'm not going to go out of my way to make a bunch of pro-scalper topics. It won't convince people to my way of thinking and it will CERTAINLY estrange me from the community. That doesn't mean I won't stand up for my beliefs, but I won't shove them down anyone's throat, either.

 

And finally, be more humble. You haven't been here long enough for us to give a damn about you and you haven't done anything to contribute. I'm not saying you should be a sycophant or be a weakling, just don't make a big deal about how right you think you are, like you're doing in this thread.
