This episode is the result of shoving a bunch of win together to form a half hour!

 

Bravo!

I have to say, for the most part the episode was ho-hum for me. Besides the references made (Old Macadam's Oil House, Rattrap, Grandus, Tracks, Fortress Maxiums, Metroplex, etc) it served to tie everything in for the 2 parter. However, the last scene made the whole episode worthwhile:

 

1) Shockwave reverting to his 'true colors'

 

2) Lugnut boiling about Shockwave being called Megatron's most loyal servant

 

3) Arcee's awakening

 

4) The inevitable showdown on Earth

of course this series gets really really good and there's no fourth season.

Nobody in Beast Wars hated Cons like Rattrap, so why would he be a dirtbag like he was in this episode ???

Great episode though. Espically with Shockwave making Lugnut jealous. Who wants to take bids that Lugnut is going to try to remove Shocks by any means nesicarry?

I don't think Lugnut is discreet enough to take out Shockwave without ticking off his 'glorious leader'...but that was pretty funny...Lugnut was pissed!

I was really wondering that myself this afternoon. But would a cliffhanger allude to the fact that there MIGHT be a season 4? :shrug I find it hard to see how they're gonna wrap all this up with only a few episodes left...wondering if there's something they're not telling us...?

I saw two of them today at Target...still couldn't bring myself to buy it though. I'm just sold on the 'dull' color. :shrug And in all practicality, he's 25 big ones (gotta save something for some movie stuff)!

Since they didn't give a name I prefer to think of that as having bee Packrat instead. Personallity seems like a much better fit.
