I think that Hasbro and Takara should take the Dead End model, repaint and modify it into Sunstreaker, that way fans can have both Autobot Twins as Alternators. They already have the license to the Vipers. So I think that if enough TF fans e-mail them with this request, they just might make it happen. It'll be easier than repainting your own Dead End, because so many things can go wrong, then you'll just wind up with "Sun End". I've seen this type of thing happen with all sorts of toy companies. I also collect Power Ranger toys, and enough people emailed Bandai requesting them to make toys that otherwise might no have been made. So if people here do this type of thing, maybe, just maybe Hasbro will listen to us. People, listen up. I've gotten the page to go to to email Hasbro. SPREAD THE WORD.

Rumor has it that Hasbro is planning release of a store-exclusive repaint of Dead End as Sunstreaker already. Considering Hasbro and Takara's affinity for repaints, I'm sure we'll see it eventually.

Please make an Alternators Sunstreaker. That way we fans and collectors can have both Autobot Twins Sideswipe and Sunstreaker for our collection. I know that me and many other fans have dreamed of this. You already have the premission to make the Viper TF. So just remake your Dead End model with some modification and recoloring, and rename it Sunstreaker.

at OTFCC they Hinted at a Sunstreaker Stor Exclusive.

Why would they make it a store exclusive, when it might just be easier to get it this way. I'm telling you guys, do this, it just might help! seriously. If enough complaints/requests come in, things happen. At my school, we go the administration to let us play cards in school, but only before and after with adult supervision. But we got them to let us, instead of not letting us not play them at all, games like solitare and others of the like. But the point I'm making is that if we can get people to do this, it just might happen.

Well, so far none of the regular Alternators (except SS and SS, of course!) are easy for me to get, so I don't really care if Sunstreaker is a store exclusive or not! I may have to resort to an web store before long, because I'm tired of these fruitless trips!

 

So yeah, I'll buy Sunstreaker whether or not it's an exclusive, though I hope they add some missile/hands or something new.

I am not to fond of the Sideswipe mold. However, if there is a Sunstreaker, then I would gladely pick him up.

Face it. Repaints will always be a part of the TF toy line. At least Hasbro has gone out of their way to make each toy distinct. A remold here, an add-on there. I give Hasbro full marks for the entire Alternators line.

I'm actually going to grab pretty much every BT and ALT up to #11 and selectively grab other interesting figures from the other lines.
