Legends Warpath: better than some $20 toys.

Recommended Posts

He's really nice. He's boring after a while, but so much better than most of the A.E.C crap.

His robot mode is fantastic and spot on to his original animation model and his tank mode, while lazy, looks like something that SHOULD exist.

Actually, the H-tank design is pretty much the worst way to build an armoured vehicle. Tank armour is positioned and angled to deflect the blast from enemy munitions, absorbing as little of it as possible. The H-tank design does the exact opposite, presenting a huge, easily-hit crevice on the front and back of the vehicle to contain the blast and direct a huge portion of it into the tank itself, causing it to suffer much more damage than a more convex design would. No military would ever field a tank that looks like Universe Warpath's altmode.

Still looks cool, though.

That's what I was talking about.

EDIT:

BUT, you could argue that he's built for speed, not durability (and I know tanks are fast as hell, so...). And it's not like he's a tank, anyway. His barrel's too long. He's a super mobile artillery piece lacking in ground shock absorbers.

BLAM, WHAM, SPLAT...

I still want one.

Yeah, Warpath and Cosmos are on the list. The rest of the new Legends are nice, but not realy my thing.

I got Beachcomber and hope that if these others sell well they'll get a Scout or Deluxe upgrade.

Legends are a great way to revive the Minibots, but I can't justify them being $5 or more, make them $3 or 4, and I'd be more prone to get them.

I got all four new Legends toys today from Wal-Mart.

Wheelie and Cosmos are the ones I want now.

Brawn's OKAY, but not my kind of figure.

Have Brawn, Beachcomber, and Bumblebee (whom I call Hubcap just cause I have one Classic's 'Bee, don't need two, but liked the mold).

Want Warpath and Cosmos. I want Wheelie just for cannon fodder.

warpath is pretty good but i wouldn't pay $20.... is what you're saying an indightment of the $20 priced tfs? cause lots of those do suck

Just got mine from HTS and I still can't believe the articulation on this guy. He's a friggin legends and he has articulation in the elbow and knees! I definitely say he's one of the best legends that's been released so far. More then worth the $4-5 price tag. Haven't been able to put the little guy down yet.

Too bad I can't say the same for the second Ani Soundwave I got as well. So many QC issues on this guy. Can't even get him into vehicle mode he has so many issues. Not that it matters since I bought him purely to play with since my first is permanently posed.
