One particular story I have doesn't concern any TF figures but their packaging. When my girlfriend and I were moving out of my grandparents (in 2002), I had set aside a box that had the packages of my Takara Collection #2 Prowl, japanese reissue Starscream (original box art), my Commemorative series Ultra Magnus and Optimus Prime figures and some Macross/Robotech packages and told them to not throw it out and that I would be back for it in a day or so. They threw it out. Apparently they got confused and thought I said to throw it out. Damn hearing. Love 'em anyway.

 

 

Now I just have to be on the lookout for the two kittens we have...

Yeah, you'll want to be careful not to let your grandparents handle those kittens, or they'll throw them out too...

Well, I can't say I'm with anyone at the moment, but I'm not well traveled in the art of the female.. honestly, I don't usually talk about my collecting habits. I consider myself a very diverse individual.. jack of all trades sort. My Transfandom is just one of many hobbies I got. I'm not sure really how to tell them that I collect.. I'm not really sure what they're going to think.. because sometimes the female speicies can be downright vicious.. but like most say, it's a part of what makes me who I am.. if they got a problem with it, they can hit the road. Luckily that's never happened. I don't like fighting people.. but if theres a line drawn in the sand and I got no choice, then fight I will.

This isn't meant as a flame, but I gotta ask:

Erm...It's not about choosing a toy over a woman/relationship. Why would anyone want to be with someone who doesn't respect their interests? When two people care for one another, one doesn't usually try to embarrass the other in front of their friends with their hobbies. Besides, if they have so much of a problem with it, then why are they even there? F**k that, hold out until you find the person who actually cares enough to learn about you and respect your interests and even possibly embrace them as well.

 

I think it has more to do with choosing between a (shallow) woman/relationship or choosing a relationship with someone who will love you for who you are. Fortunately for me, I have that.

i'm single as well funny some 18 people would have a gf by now who knows so i have'nt got any stories yet but i guess one thing (dare i say it) that could not get ya *ahem* into bed that would be all your tfs looking at you thats kinda what my are doing looking i can't help it the shelf faces the other side of the room

first time ever writing in to the forum, i have read this many times and always felt that people covered what i felt and wanted to say, so have not ever written before. however girlfriend V's transformers has been one hot topic couldnt pass by, so here we go

 

me and my girfriend have been together for almost three years and in this time i have bought my share of transformers, now she never understood the whole thing but we have a good understanding relationship and she leaves me to mine and i leave her to hers.

 

however one day after about two years i sat down I talked her in to watching The Holy Grail: TFM, we switched off mobiles, turned down the lights, got out the popcorn and got all cosy and decided to give it a go :clap

 

Just as things were getting good and spike is about to say the infamous "holy...... " I look over to see the suprise of swear words in the holy grail and she is all sullen faced :tfpuke

 

so i ask her whats wrong and she say's that we have to split up :tdown

 

i of course ask why?????

 

She replies that if she has to sit her and watch another minute of TFM she cant do it and that she will never love transformers the way that i do and that i best find a transformer loving girl cos she hates them, the plastic, the chunky, pieces, why they transform

yes there are but they are very rare

the great dont worry about not having a gf yet i didnt get one until i was 24 years old!! yes that makes me 27, few one night stands but nothing serious, go out there and have fun with life, i "worried" aboout the fact so much my palms started to grow hairs!!!! :tfpuke
