Bay used the super sized excavator type vehicals for devistator! a simple dump truck of this class is taller than Prime in robot mode. Did you notice that the excavator had 2-3 flights of stairs????...that vehicle is as big as a house!

These types of vehicles are used in desert areas...im guessing that Devistator is a cube accident that fights for a short time and dies. It's created by Starscream with the cube, which he first has to steal and then used to to make devistator to uncover the Fallen.

Speaking of the Fallen, I notice that the figure in the pics we have seen is not finished being transformed. who ever has the toy needs to put up the head more or something.

I am looking forward to seeing what ALL the constructicons will look like in the end. The heavy mining shovel was an excellent way to whet our appetites. now all we have to do is figure out how to be patient. Also, it doesnt look too much like an accidental cube creation. In order to get those vehicles, you have to go out into the boonies, but that is mainly because nobody I know wants to live next to a strip-mine. That is where it looks like the majority of the vehicles came from. As to the cranes, check out some of the heavy equipment that is used on really massive construction projects.

What the hell is with the head?

The rest looks very intresting, but that head is just...

What I am about to say is purely based on what I see and not on anything else.

Devastator is hideous. This is one character that may actually benefit from the limitations of the toy manufacturing process.

The Fallen is, interesting. I like toy we saw a lot more than this movie version of the character.

:pfx

I wish they wouldn't keep going to the same old "Make 'em squat and wide" aesthetic when it comes to dealing with the bigger guys. I understand why they do it, but I would have happily taken a smaller, more humanoid Devastator over what rather strongly feels to be a King Kong re-hash.

And as for the colourscheme...

Devastator's body is everything I could've hoped for and then some. His head looks like crap.

I mean I understand (and like) the movie aesthetic and was fully expecting something scary and toothy, but this just looks like... Well... Crap.

Then again it is a concept sketch and there's a good possibility that it'll look a lot better on film (and on a toy shelf), but as it stands that is one goofy-looking noggin.

The Fallen barely looks like a robot. I actually really like that.

:awsum The Autobots are so screwed.
