CyClonus Walking tank mode!

Recommended Posts

I noticed some thing interesting about the design of how Cyclonus' legs transform. the struts that hold both halves of the legs in place look like they were meant to be exposed at some point. so I fiddled with this to see if i could find some cool looking walker mode for this jet like what you'd find in robotech (what can i say "Gear Walk" grew on me).

Any how many times i've tried for a fan made walker mode out of a robo-jet and mostly they were more like half hearted attempts that would more likely do damage to the figure than good. plus everything was barely holding in place and the figure or mode was not very possible.

After a few tries here is my idea for a walker mode for Cyclonus.

with nightstick, the walker is a complete tank on four legs (not on 2 like most gear walks). The mode is very stable as if the toy was ment to be this way. the exposed in side of the now 4 legs look fitting and if anything seeing this mode in action gives more plausible reason for all the empty space in the starfighter mode that tops everyones complaint list on the figure.

You compare the ship with the walker and it just seems to make since. To bad this is not an official transformation or that there was never a mode like this intended for Cyclonus from the beginning.

But at any rate check it out!

Heh, that's pretty cool right there. It's the Universe Galvatron cannon we never had.

That is pretty impressive actualy. I wasn't expecting it to look that nice.

THAT is Sweet !!! Cyclonus the triple changer :)

Like I needed a reason to get a third. I'm not sure if I'm just lazy or what. It's not that I don't enjoy tranforming toys all day but for some reason there are figs that never see a different mode on my shelves. Nightstick will never see bot-mode again and Shockwave will stay in baddass (make you shiat your pants if you ran into him) robot form forever.

Micromark.

Cool,

Thank you all for the positive comments!

In this mode Cyclonus has many points of articulation to include his quad legs and nightstick being the turret and his booster jets can move a little for jumps. I'm calling this Cyclonus's Mobile Gun Platform.

I actually just got Cyclonus today! He's in your cannon mode right now and it looks pretty neat. :P

you know, with the right mods you could turn this into a really kick ass version of galvatron
