Is anyone else's universe Starscream loose as a wet noodle?

Recommended Posts

Seriously......this thing is loose. I just looked at him on the shelf just now, and one of his guns fell of his arm. FROM LOOKING AT HIM!!! in jet mode his cockpit wont stay in place, peg is to small, his knees wont hold him up unless i stand him at attention, and his arms wont support the weight of the launchers. Is this an isolated incident? or is eveyones like this? Should i trade with my army buddy for the classics one he stole from me last year?

The G1 version I bought is seriously loose, but he will stand up to some degree. I've decided to keep him in jet mode and keep my first SS in bot mode. I think this version is suffering what some of the Henkei ones are, overuse of the mold cast.

Can't say for StarScream, but my Henkie Thundercracker has very loose wings and the holes on his arms for the Null Rays are way to big.

It has me wanting to wait on Dirge and Thrust. If the problem persists, I will not be dropping the asking price on them. A complete set of Classics Seekers would be great, but I don't wanna pay for junk.

That's a major reason I opted to not get any of the Hekei seekers. I've seen way too many of the same complaints about them(on here and a few other sites), and at the really high price, I can't justify loose plastic like that.

Yeah, for the money I payed, I'm not to pleased.

Plus one for the BotCon people!

I have seen Universe SS, and although it looked good, it also looked iffy in the package which is why I passed on it. I figured it was bumped around in shipping but now...

Anyhow, I'm not buying anymore of this mold without doing a good deal of research first. If the Henkie exclusives coming out are suffering the same way, I'm just gonna save up and go BotCon.

It'll suck, but we haven't had a chance at all 6 Seekers since G1. It would be bad ass if Robot Masters got one more push with the ConeHeads, but otherwise, the collector in me wants these complete.

Dunno what you guys are talking about. My starscream is perfectly tight. Transformed it and posed it several times and no problems whatsoever. In fact, this figure is now my favorite mold in classics/universe, and in my top 5 favorites of all time.

i agree with you leige. a full set of seekers would be nice. but this thing sucks. i bought two...and they both suffer the same exact problems. makes me wish i didnt let army dude steal my classics one...and the money it will cost for said full set of seekers...i shell'd out 120 for thrust. and its fantastic. but the others...i cant justify spending that much money on a wet noodle..
