I got that exact trailer from sky_lynx1978 on Ebay who I believe is Dalianjj who I believe MADE the trailer (that comes with roller) who I believe is making the MP Magnus trailer. I could be mistaken on any of meliefs though so dont hold me to it.

 

He hasnt posted anything on ebay in a while but perhaps if you message him??

Well, I hope I have a chance to grab an iGear trailer. It looks really nice! Hopefully when it goes up for pre-order, I'll catch it before it's too late!

Kind of reminds me of my Masterpiece Prime buying oddessy, except in reverse. I thought I was getting a kick-arse deal on e-bay, but was foolish enough not to read carefully. It was an auction for the MP-4 which seemed to be going for a rediculously good price. (Should have been clue #1 it was too good to be true.)

 

I read in the item discription the words, "Mint In Box," which to me would mean that the item was mint in box. Thus, I missed the fine print further down where it said, "Trailer only." (Mind you, in my opinion, those two should be mutually exclusive, as only part of a toy by definition cannot be mint in box. Hell, when I got it, I didn't even get the box, unless you count the inner box that contained the trailer!)

 

And so I ended up with basically a slightly more then $100 plastic box on wheels that opened up. I tell you, that trailer kicks arse as part of a toy, but as an item by itself that had to be the most disapointing package I'd ever gotten in the mail. Fortunately the story has a happy ending when not long after I lucked upon the U.S. version of the toy at Target for 75% off. After another quick trip to e-bay for a set of replacement smokestacks, I was once again a happy guy. The later addition of the TFC Toys Battle Roller just made it all the better.

 

Good luck on your trailer hunt. As I go to prove, once in a while you can find the official ones by their lonesome. And as others have stated, there are some un-official ones that open up. As for Roller, pretty sure (although not positive) that Battle Roller is still available. And if you're looking for something more G1 accurate (although I personally like Battle Roller quite a bit) wasn't there a more recent fan produced set with what was basically an upscaled version of G1 Roller?

Oh, I agree. Way too much for just the trailer. If I'd seen, "Trailer Only," I'd never had bid. And if I hadn't found the cab on clearance, I'd still be kicking myself about it even a few years later. In the end I think I made out well, but in the beginning I was feeling royally screwed!

You really like the battle roller?? I would like it for the MOVIE line -- but IMHO it's not a very good G1 line addition at all (which to me, is what MP is about) -- as evidence by Starscream being an F-15, and not an F-22 as well.

 

I got the roller addition that looked like the original - but couldn't bring myself to getting battle roller.

I ended up having to BUILD my own trailer. And for what it cost, i think I would have been better off just buying an MP-04 Prime.

This right here was the biggest mistake they made with Battle Rollar....

 

They slapped MP on the box!!!

 

If you want it for he movie line, guess what, it works with Movie Prime, Classics Prime, as well as MP Prime as a weapons jet pack.

 

If anything, they should have called it Universe Battle Rollar as it is one of the most versatile TF units out there.

 

I got the other Roller too, and whoopie, a brick on wheels :wtf
