Hated the idea initially but the head sculpt is awesome.

That is some wild Sh*t! It looks cool but why would a robot need a panther head?

After seeing this and not being appalled, I seriously beleive I can buy every Alternator they bring out. It's like I should hate it but I dont. I some how looks right to me.

Wow, the first Alternator I don't like.

:;sees the picture and sighs:: well so much for me using my artistic skills to redner an idea of what it would look like...

Anyway, It doesn't look half bad, my only problem with it is that the head seems a little small for the body... kinda just makes it looked tacked on unstead of thoght out.

BC, the reason I don't like this is that the head looks really out of place on the toy. This isn't a GeeWun thing -- trust me, I'm almost as over G1 as you are by now. The head looks too small and, to be honest, when I see an animal head on a Transformer, I don't think "Corvette" or even "car".

 

What it *does* make me think of is the awesome BW-style figures they could do if they approached it with the same level of detail.

I'm less approving of Grimlock than I am of this guy...

 

Ravage will be good kitbash fodder and a cool toy on the shelf.

Imagine if they made a big Masterpiece Megatron, and having this Ravage crouched near his feet.
