To pick one is freakin tough. I guess for the sake of saying something besides the live action movie...I'll go with the announcement of RID/Car Robots. I loved the Beast Wars show and the toys were so-so(they peaked at the original munky Prime IMO) but I always thought of TFs as vehicles. Once I found out about Scourge and Fort Max being redone in this, I was super happy.

I gotta go with a 3 way tie.

MP prime, Peter Cullen as optimus in the live action movie, and Armada Unicron.

Armada may have sucked, but finally having a Unicron toy was awesome. to this day, he goes behind the figs on my G1 shelf.

Armada Unicron.

Oh, good one.

For me - I'd have to say the live-action movie or MP Prime or the original Classics line*.

*Megs made me feel like a 5 year old again, shooting my (now) ex-girlfriend with him while making laser sounds and uses his sight like it was real.

You know - everyone is citing MP-Prime but I remember seeing BT/Alternators Smokescreen before I knew about Prime and it was a pretty amazing moment - then buying the Alternartor when it came out...

:drool

By the time Prime came - I was totally in love with him but the WOW factor had been diminished due to my familiarity with Smokescreeen....

Damn...I have to agree with this too...cause it's true.

Plus Alts got my best friend back into TFs.

I hate it when Hunter is right, he's such a gheybodouchenstein, but don't tell him I said that.

Probably Armada Unicron here. Probably the only representation we'll ever see of that guy thats true to his original intentions. I do like that tank version though. I wouldn't mind having it some day.

the real answer is a no-brainer (the "live action" movie)

for me personally:

• alt smokescreen

• armada unicron

• G1 reissues

• the "live action" movie

• mp prime

• classics (& their "universe" return)

in that order
