:schin

I wonder if this a preview figure, like the Protoform Optimus & Starscream figures from the first movie?

Anywho, I like how the fig looks and certainly plan on getting him.

It does look fatter and different to this one though... Prefer this one to the the new one actually

Well, it wouldn't surprise me if there was some mis-transformation going on in one or both sets of pics. I think they're likely the same toy, although it could be "deluxe" and "voyager" options or something...

They've got different chests. The old one has three orbs at chest level, the new one has one more at waist level. And looks fatter...

When lightened in Photoshop, they look remarkably similar. The new photos seem to have something folded over the outer-most chest orbs, and the newer photos maybe don't have the legs properly extended...but I really think we're looking at the same toy in various states of mistransformation.

Why'd they jack up the face in the image by putting a cheap Photoshop lighting effect on it!? :argh

because god hates you

may i say this actually be the leader class :scarred

Yeah, that makes it much clearer. Cheers :thumb Looks like a battle mode and a normal mode to me, and the chubbyness seems to be the wings folded more.

On the legs - the new ones look properly extended, but just a bit too short... But that's because of what I think is the folded wings behind the back. It's definitly something that's not in the earlier pics.

Looks good though :)

Could be Leader size, but I'm guessing Voyager...similar to Starscream's bulkiness. But more importantly, how does the chest deck eject?...KIDDING! Sorry, I had to :tfrofl

I do hope they're the same figure... I see no need for Soundwave to get two figures with generic space-jet alt-modes... I'd rather he get one in space-jet mode, one in Earth-mode.

They do look like various mistransformations to me, though.

I'd say this transformation is pretty close. I like the head sculpt and the over all look is dope. :thumb

I still think this is an early release (via protoform) and his Earth mode will be shown later. This is if he even has an Earth mode.

Reguardless, ROTF Soundwave = :thumb

It looks different than the previous one. Maybe it's The Fallen? Is The Fallen even going to be in this movie?

Looks okay... for a movie toy. That alt mode looks very Vector Primeish or what?

Now THIS is more like it! Finally, some pics taken with a decent camera. Looks a hell of a lot better than what we saw before. I'm really eager to see more of this and more of the alt mode(s).
