I suppose my sleep-deprived state is adding to my already formidable crankiness and causing me to insert unnecessary hyperbole . Was not trying to start an argument. No harm meant.

I can never really decide whether the "Bay's movie wasn't G1 enough!" angst or the reactionary "Everything G1 is now lame!" angst is more annoying.

I've never seen anyone call everything in G1 lame.

I couldn't watch more than the first 4-5 seconds.

And realy I was hoping for more of this!

 

Eveybody wants more of that, i don't know why they won't make a proper movie.

 

See I like the movie, and walked away very pleased with the end result. I don't think the style in the clip would blend well into live action.

 

As for the new web series that we're supose to be getting, I have to say as a fan of G1, I hope it retains the quality and attitude presented in this clip. I also have to say though that I also hope it's not just the old show redone in CGI. Yeah that would be cool, but I've already seen it.

The point is, though, that I'm easily old enough to remember G1 (I was its target audience, in fact), but I've been with the franchise continuously since then, and change has just been part of the franchise for me because of that. Like water off a duck's back.
