I was on the bus this morning, and I got to thinking. There are a few Transformers from each line, that when in vehicle mode, actually look like the vehicle itself, i.e. in vehicle mode, there's either very, very little, or no robot stuff showing. What do you guys think. Here are my suggestions. G1: Optimus Prime Jazz Hound Mirage Sideswipe Megatron Seekers RiD: Prowl Sideburn Armada: Hot Shot Energon: Landmine Bulkhead Energon Hot shot Sledge-w/o Energon weapon Duststorm-w/o Energon weapon Arcee-w/o Energon weapon Storngarm-w/o Energon weapon I'm not going to allow the Alternators, since they're built with this purpose in …

I was wondering if any of you have anyone in the real world to share your passion for transformers with? Is there anyone that you toy hunt with or looks out for you when they go to a store? Except for my occassional posts here I don't know anyone that likes or collects tf's. It gets alittle lonely sometimes. I would love to be able to hang out someone close to my own age and talk about the hobby. Does anone else have my problem?

I dropped by a spanking new Wal-Mart last night, in hopes I would see a relatively new selection of Alternators. Needless to say, this didn't happen. Somehow, they got in 2 cases of the 2 Silverstreak/1 Hound/1 Sideswipe assortment! This came out when? May? June?

Now, here's a question that's been sitting in the back of my mind for a while: I know the concensus around here is largely "take it out of the box, you'll enjoy it more," but that just leads me to another question. Do you actually play with your Transformers if you open them? Or do they just sit on your shelf in cool poses? I'm asking because a few weeks back, I actually tried to do recreate something on film, but it just felt...odd. Not wrong of embarassing, but rather, it felt...empty. Does anyone else feel this way?

I'm bored and this is all I could come up with...sigh If they did make them though at least they could do Kup right with the Offical Aqua Blue Metallic on Chevy's website. Kup http://www.chevrolet.com/ssr/ Hot Rod http://www.fordvehicles.com/fordgt/home.asp Of course that would be 3 cars from Ford Grimlock/WheelJack = Mustang Meister/ZoomZoom/Shockwave = Mazda RX8

This has probably been posted before, but... What's the deal with Toys R Us' website? There's like, nothing there for Transformers. I was browsing it a while back and there were some Alternators for sale and all sorts of stuff. Now half of it is gone! Are they doing something with that place, or is their site teh suck?

I know that there's been a lot of jibba-jabba about "What's the worst/best G1 episode?" here, but I have yet to see one on what people think is the weirdest. Yeah, I know that there were big-game hunters stalking Prime and a superintelligent defense computer with a face like chewed bubble gum, but there has to be at least one episode that sticks in your mind as a prime "WTF?" moment. For me, it's gotta be "The Big Broadcast of 2005." There's just something about that episode that weirds me out. I was watching the DVD of it the other day and it just made me go "...the Hell?" about 5 times. Maybe it was all the TV-speak, or the female Junkion who gets blown up and reassembl…

Following Skywarps Ghost's Lead: This quote from Phoenixhawk seems to be a common answer when this board is posed with the question of "Why did G1 Die": "I think what "killed" G1 was the post-TF:TM figures. No longer were the TF familiar cars, planes, etc. Now they were all futuristic looking and that may well have been good for a sub-line, but not for the main line. The construction methods were all different and it almost seems like they used lower-quality materials and the figures seemed more like they were designed for "kids" where the original 84 and 85 figures, while not sleek or elegant by any stretch of the imagination, they at least were reasonably detai…
