General

All Transformers, all the time -- from Generation 1 to "Animated", Michael Bay's Transformers franchise, and beyond.

  1. I was born in 1980 and got transformers as soon as I saw them around 85. I would be allowed to get one every time we went to Toys'R'Us, which was an hour and a half away, so not very often. My first was SkyWarp. Loved it all the way to the movie, and then found girls and forgot about transformers. Fast forward 15 years or so to when the commemorative series hit the shelves. My mother ,out of the blue, buys me a new SkyWarp. I know she had no clue she had got me the same transformer way back then. I put it up and forget about it till this year. I got it out and put the stickers on it, then bought season 1, 2, the movie, and seasons 3 and 4 of the animation. Now I am fully …

Please don't let this turn into a flame-war, that is not the intention. There are mixed feelings about this figure & more so, the box art. This is not asking how old she is, but how old she looks? :schin Again, please don't argue too much. Let your vote do the talking. :thumb

  5. How the hell is the Michael Bay movie going to beat the old movie???? I don't know if it can because its nearly the perfect action movie. Its non stop from start to finish with plenty of heart and drama I love it. I dont think anything in the movie will beat the moment when megatron penetrates the city walls and we cut to the ark coming to the rescue ''Dinobots destroy devastator'' And when Prime sets of to stop megatron ''megatron must be stopped no matter the cost'' you know its the end for him. Hotrod is Luke Skywalker esque, kup a bit of a han Solo/Obi Wan!! What are your favourite moments

  7. Over the years, TFs have seen a lot of things reworked, rewritten, or just filled in in their history (such as thier origin or why they're fighting), but every continuity has had the war between bots and cons going for 1,000,000+ years, except for maybe RiD. The new IDWverse tries to take that into account by having cybertron be so war-ravaged that it's uninhabitable, but come on. How could it go on so long without either side winning, or at least gaining some ground? Or both sides being so devastated they quit. Is this such a staple of the mythos that they can't change it and have the war be, like, 10 years old when they get to earth? Or have it start after the…

  8. Started by BigEars,

you know how starscream can easily escape the stasis cuffs? well waht if starscream tells megatron how to break out of them and possibly megatron will rebuild starscream you know they will work out the entire backstabbing by starscream so what do you think?

  9. With all the controversy and furore surrounding the 2005 Survey Protocol, I think it's time we established a new protocol. In the interests of democracy, we'll all vote on which system we think is best and use that for the 2006 Survey Protocol and hopefully try to establish a universal collection counting format. Please read each proposed model carefully before casting your vote! MODEL 1 The 2005 Survey Protocol. This was used when I conducted a survey last year to determine the average Transfans' collection size across numerous boards. This was based on cliffbee's counting system and was largely accepted by most fans - however the most controversial element was…
