Upgrades

Here it is! Your place to share upgrade kits, stickers, customs, repaints, 3D Printing projects and more than meets the Transformers Garage!

  1. Started by Cyrax2112,

Primed the whole thing (no pun intended), painted, then dry-brushed silvewr on for the "chipped metal" look. Top it off with some black marker for detail. Enjoy.

  2. This is my second run at Shattered Glass Prime (more to come too) This round, I use a SDCC Voyager Prime (Nemesis) and added some nice battle damage atop a nice metallic purple. View the Custom Gallery Here

  3. Started by Garage Mod,

Big thanks goes to Wikkid for his WIP on this character in this scale and using MP SS as the base. I used a 1/72 scale mig-25 foxbat for the some of the plane parts. Mainly the nose/cockpit area and the fins. I had intended to use the horizontal fins and wings but had to regretfully remove those to make the transformation work. Instead I had to scratch build the wings that were a bit more toy accurate and less true life. The turret and some of the tank parts came from a 1/35 scale Mitsubishi Type 74 tank. I tried using the original wheels and treads but couldn't get them to work with the transformation. I tried and failed using 2 other forms of treads, finally settling on…

  5. Started by Taiga_Shinjiro,

Hi guys. Been lurking on this board for a bit- Thought I'd post my first attempt at a leader class figure. Basically, my take on Nemesis Prime. Didn't want to do him in black- wanted to be a little different! Here he is so far. He's still a WIP- still sorting out different weapons (have a ridiculously over-sized sword in progress and also want to make a few magnet attachment points so I can swap different weapons onto him) and detailing etc. Also want to make him a *lot more battle damaged. Will add more as I progress.

  6. A modded/repainted Transformers Crossover Captain America into Impactor. Enjoy! View the Custom Gallery Here

  8. Started by DTM,

Ever since I got the itouch I have left my old Sony NW-E0035 mp3 to die. It was a great mp3 that lasted me quite a few years so I decided to give it a treat. Using my old Cybertron Soundwave, I dismantled most of the wing parts and cut the tape deck to fit the mp3. Kinda did some minor sculpting like the head and added a few bulk on the forearms and shins. Now if only the mp3 had an external speaker...so I used an old pair of skullcandy earphones which could be hooked into Soundblaster's weapons itself or into Rumble's jet pack/guns (not removable) for a extra boost of loudness and range. Rumble/Frenzy was made using the Cybertron drone with foam added for some liken…

  9. Human Alliance Jazz is a remarkable figure. Hasbro has really outdone themselves with this larger, super accurate and detailed Jazz figure. When I first broke him out of his cardboard prison, he begged me to repaint him in his original Generation 1 color scheme. Jazz's features/upgrades:- Chrome rims- Articulated hands (c/o Zildjian)- Super glossy white paint job- Custom racing stripe w/ metallic blue- Custom decalsmore and larger photos can be seen...flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/accardi1/sets...57624723134674/facebook: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2344...le/277523541966 View the Custom Gallery Here

  10. Hello, On this and one other transformers news posting, I have enjoyed your news postings and your fan base for years now. With up to the minute postings and awesome fan made customs, I find it to be a daily treat. One of my most favorite shows of the transformers line besides the obvious G1 era I grew up with was the Beast Wars/ Machines era. In my opinion it not only brought this childhood line back but tried to take it to the next level (sometimes with fan protest). Such was the case with Beast Machines, fans Ive bumped into either liked it or hated it. At any rate I wondered what if Beast Machines was taken to the next level in the Transtech line. So thats how I built…
