  1. Started by ---The Rat,

Hey everyone here is my latest kitbash, Alternator Sideburn He's a combo of Deadend and Sideswipe. I'ev been planning this little bash for quite a while. it just took me getting my hands on Deadend for the hard top. I didnt want sideburn to be a convertable. I'ev still got a little work to do on him, its mostly just touching up a little paint, applying a layer of sealer, and putting autobot stickers him. :tfevil Why did i choose Sideburn as a viper? umm well Duh :tftongue what does his RID toy turn in to huh? anyway what do you think?

  4. Howdy! As some of you may recall, some time ago I had commissioned Josh to draw up a custom character I had thought up, by the name of Sprinter. He's an '86 Toyota Trueno hatchback (AE86). Anyways, my original plan was to do a kitbash for him. I have most the parts I was planning on using: A 1/24 Scale plastic model kit of the Trueno, and a 1/144 Scale plastic generic-looking Gundam model kit (1/100 Gundam was way too big for the Trueno). Now I'm sitting here, day after day for about a good month, wracking my brain as to how this is all going to fit together and still allow the damn thing to transform. I've been playing around with the limbs and generous amoun…

Was gonna wait until the gallery is up on transtopia so I can link it here, but since the guy is on vacation, I will just go ahead and post some sample pics of my latest kitbash. I know repaints/kitbashes of Alt Smokes is done to death but thats all I can get my hands on (until today when I got my hands on Hound). Anyways, its my reincarnation of Thundercracker seeker jet (story behind it can be found on Transtopia when the gallery is up) inspired by the Mitsubishi Eclipse seen in The Fast and the Furious. Some details: In staying true to the Alt/BT line, the dual exhaust/mufflers in bot mode is converted into the trademarke G1 seeker arm blasters in bot mode. Th…

  8. Started by purple-bot,

i am just about to start on a few kitbashes and repaints but i have no eperience other than when i repainted and sculpted the head of my beast wars rhinox so i am wondering, all of you guys are so good at it, what type of paints, knives, brushes or w/e, do you use? in the comparison of ALT's and BT's which r easier to paint and customize (im wondering what i should do, i want to make a black WRX, what would be easier to paint, BT or ALT) thanx
