And tonight I finished my latest kitbash, Dirge... I only have 1 left and I'll have all 6 g1 seekers in their original color scheme... i'll be making thrust from a u-ramjet probably (which will take a long time with all that blue and white). enjoy!

Hi guys, Finally got around to posting pics of custom alternator Prowl based on silverstreaks body and inspired by all the great custom prowls that have been posted here lately. Unlike those however I chose to go for a Prowl that would follow the alternators theme of appearing as real cars, rather than as G1 homages. Therefore, when transformed he appears as an actual aspen white subaru WRX, i.e. no police lights, black bumpers, police stickers etc. Aside from a gloss finish and a bit of touching up he's all done. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Heya TFans! I've been a stalker for a while, and just recently decided to register and get invovled. I've been seeing some very nice Kitbash work done by various people, and now I too am going to try and get involved. I've got a great idea for turning some of the old G1 TF's into Alternators, and had a quick question regarding using Model Kits as the body, while using existing Alternator frames for the frame. Alternators are listed as being 1:24 scale, so will a Model Car that is also 1:24 scale work with the Alternator frame? (I'm sure there will be some nip and tuck involved, but is 1:24 scale the way to go otherwise?) Thanks for your help! -Swipe

I had to change out the chest piece with Swipe's because of a mold flaw in Deadend's...seemed it had some hairline cracks in it that seperated as I was messin with it...anyhow, I like the red on the arms anyways, it reflects the G1 toy stickers and Dreamwave look..

Okay after bring inspired by Viagra Prime's sweet custom wheeljack alternator, made from a Nissan race car model kit, I decided to make one of my own. After some thinkig and looking at various model kits, I decided to use Alternators Sideswipe, and the model kit of a 1988 Ford Mustang. Since this is my first try at an Alternator kitbash I need to know what I need to get to make it. I already have access to a dremel pack, and have model glue, crazy glue, and I own a hot glue gun, as well as a good set of exacto knives. So what am I missing to start working on him. I am hoping Viagra Prime will respond because he has done this already, any help will be greatly apprecia…
