Upgrades

Hello All, Well, I’m afraid I’ve done it again. I couldn’t leave the brick that Powermaster Optimus Prime was alone. Energon Magnus, and Overload make excellent legs. The Apex Bomber legs function as heels. Otherwise, it would tip backwards. So, in other words, Ultra Optimus is completely free standing. I even have Powerlinx Jetfire on his back. The arms look much better in person, instead of these lousy photographs. So, what do you think?

Finally finished my first kitbash. Didn't turn out the way I hoped but its not bad. I'm satisfied with it. Here he is first in car mode.

since the alts are homages and not exact paint aps, I took the freedom with my prowl. (I actually have had this done for a while, just hadn't taken pics). not sure about teh wheels... but they look good in bot mode, and that's what he's staying in, so no biggie. The white is krylon fusion (works really well) and the stripes are vinyl. enjoy.

Say hello to TRUKK-MUNKY. There are those of you who wanted a size comparison, or reference point. Well, far be it from me to deny you. Also, I’ve added Car Robots parts in to bulk up Op’s upper body. In reference to how the shoulders are held on, I’m using Battle Ravage’s energon weapons. They barely hold it together (and I had several ‘crashes.’). So, is this any better?

I was looking at the Krylon website and they didn't list a silver in their Fusion line. I did however notice something like "Shimmering Nickel." Is this silver or am I out of luck and Silver doesn't exist in the Fusion line? Thanks, -Jin

Hi. I'm new to the world of kitbashing/repainting, and I'm aiming to repaint an Anniversary Prime into Magnus, just the white cab version, no armour. This will be my first repaint, and so I'm just asking for general advice on repainting, but annything specific to this project would rock. Basically, tips on what kind of paint to use for the metal and plastic parts, the opaque and translucent, painting techniques, preparing the metal and plasic for painting, anything that could help really, even digipaints. Tips on dissasembly and reassembly would help, too. And if anyone's done this already, if you could even outline some of the steps or difficulties …

For anyone who has energon cliffjumper, you know that you have to use the yellowthings as shoulder pads in his uper body poerlinx mode. bUt what i did instead was use the yellow things as a chest protect by lowering then down and and attaching them. If some one understands what i'm saying, please post pics because i have no camera. P.S. Make the pants ironhides.

ami the only one that would take this over the tank?
