I dunno. To me Hot Rod is a Cybertronian car, not an actual Earth-style hot rod. Of course I never would have made Grimlock into a 'Stang, so who's to say...

I think a souped up mustang would make a good Hotrod/Rodimus but I think Grimlock's mold is too bulky and armored looking for a young agile character like Hotrod.

But how much of that is the mold, and how much is the car they're working from? If I were using an existing Alternator as a basis for Hot Rod, I'd use the Tracks or Dead End mold.

Jazz / Meister should have had a head repaint and a different visor like `zoom zoom` has on the mazda website, thats a Meister head painted differently, minimum fuss but at least slightly different, the red Meisters colour is very good in reality, much better than in the pics

personally I like the mustang for hotrod but the problem for me is the robot mode it does not show off the flames on his hood which to me is one of the most important parts of hot rod. I would like to see some one try this though before I pass judgement on it
