I don't have enough time to do a full-blown photoshop job, so I quickly did this. I like what I see (even though it is rather...blobby). I'm naming him Checkpoint (from the Energon SWAT team) because I like that name, and it's somewhat fitting for a high-speed chase vehicle... I will definately get my hands on Dragstrip/Overdrive/Whoever and repaint him into this. I'll stick some police decals on him, too...Generic, or specific? CHP might be cool (though that will need a modified paint job). I want to avoid Japanese Highway Patrol, that's Prowl's prerogative...

OK... I wanted to try something easy for my first time and have decided to make Ratchet out of Energon Towline. I've got everything planned out like a good little boy... however, I have hit one MAJOR road block. I'm in the disassembly process and am fighting like hell to get these f'ing pins apart!!! I would prefer to not break him in half if possible... although that seems to be the direction I am taking. Any suggestions on easy techniques to do this? I'd love any and all input on the subject, as I have other customs that I want to try out (assuming I actually finish this one) and I assume this will come back to haunt me on future projects! Thanks!

i did one a couple months ago and posted it hear, but we have since heard that the remold will be "suzuka blue," so i redid it completely. plus, i think it looks a lot better and cleaner than the original i did. EDIT: you might notice some of the blues dont match. i did this on purpose so the robot parts are a darker blue, but pretty much the same hue.

This may not be a big shock to some of you, but while I was tinkering around with Landquake I noticed that if you remove the visor that there is a face underneath. I was thinking about leaving the visor off but there is a unsightly gap left in his head. What would any of you guys recommend using to fill in the gap? I had been thinking about using sculpey for it, but I wanted to know if anyone else had any other suggestions.
