Finished commission of "Desert Attack Brawl" from Revenge of the Fallen. While I realize his "correct" name is "Deep Desert" Brawl, I thought "Desert Attack" sounded cooler. There are no mods to this custom, only a repaint, but a painful repaint...the outer shell of the his tank mode is meticulously painted 3 shades of camouflage. So, after some tinkering and brainstorming...I figured out a way to make the arms work PROPERLY. You'll need the following: 1 x Razor Blade or like cutting device 4 x Rare Earth Magnets (Radioshack sells these 2 per pack for 1.89 or so) 1 x Brawl Deluxe Figure 1 x Screwdriver 1 x Bottle of Super Glue (I used Zap*A*Gap CA+ - those who have used it before know how strong it is...it's also a liquid so it's easy to apply thin coats) Okie...You'll need to remove the piece that has the housing on the torso for the tabs (ie, the slots) using your screwdriver. You'll need to cut away the housing starting from the outside in. I did this until the magnets were flu…

well, i'm going to get a new deluxe brawl today(last one died trying to fix the shoulder, xP ) and I need to ask...could osmebody PLEASE give me good instructions on how to do the fix? hell, is it even possible to do it without one of those dremel thingies? I need to know ASAP, as i'm going to pick up anything I need when I go(well, that's within my price range) ^.^; thanks!

After my first Breakaway was shown I had a bunch of fan requests to make a gray one that looked more like the actual plane and fill the cuts in the underside of the wings. That's been done and also I put the wings on a ball-joint so they can tilt and rotate like in the Revenge of the Fallen video game! That was just a cool feature of the character, his wings always moving and adjusting as he posed. He also has the head/upper body fix, magnetic sniper rifle, and sky lance attachments. Scored a Brushguard with bonus Armorhide today (check your Kaybees!) and did some paint work on him. Hard to see in the pics, but his wheels (including the spare) are black with dark metallic grey rims. I did his feet up as a bull bar with floodlights, and I cut the rod off his missile so it wouldn't stick out of his back (and also for my own sake...he fell onto his back, which discharged the missile and darn near hit me on the nose. I think he looks a bit like some kind of mountain rescue vehicle with the bull bar, and in fact, I was contemplating giving him emergency-orange striping and maybe a little lightbar or bubble gum light.
