Toys R Us To Close 87 Stores POSTED: 12:56 pm EST January 10, 2006 UPDATED: 1:00 pm EST January 10, 2006 PARAMUS, N.J. -- With the holiday season behind, Toys R Us plans to close 87 locations in the coming months as part of its reorganization after being taken private last year. Plans call for converting a dozen of the locations into Babies R Us stores. The closures will cause the company to record $155 million of restructuring charges. News of the plans comes from Vornado Realty Trust, which bought the company last year in a partnership with private equity firms Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and Bain Capital Partners. The company did not specify which …

Since this line seems to be dedicated to Primes and Convoys, it is not ill concieved that Takara could give us a highly articulated star convoy for our collections. This highly sought after character depicted in the manga was one of the coollest forms of convoy yet. The toy in my opinion left a lot to be desired, the pvc that was released as part of the legends of cybertron depicted convoy in a very good pose and thought that was one of the best figures for that character ever. I think it would be nice to be able to put this next to GF Convoy, G1 Convoy, and whoever else fills out this line.

I was just looking at this ad for Pepsi Convoy: http://www.fantofan.jp/news/mag/dengekihobby/feb2006-1.jpg Not only is Convoy in the fridge, but notice the "Destron Pizza" box. Also there is a note in there, I think it says "Convoy, warm 2 before you eat, Mom" but not sure.

Since the holiday shoppings eason is pretty much over by now. I stopped by a Target store today. I went to another Target store the 1st of the yr. but there were Cybertron toys in stock (Megs, Optimus, SS, etc) This other one, NONE whatsoever, NOT even Alternators. I would assume Tf sold well at this Target store i went to today or they didnt get their new shipment of TFs.

I found this on TFormers` listing of the new Alts that are being released in the UK. I haven`t heard anything about the Civic Alt on here before so I figured I ask. http://TFormers.com/article.php?sid=5448 I`m thinking it might be Bumblebee due to the size of the Civic. Maybe hoping is more like it since I really want an official Bumblebee.

they are rereleasing some of the products by the sound of things am i the only person who is worried about this "Chip " ability, they should just make the figures as close to the show as possible and ignore what the current line is doing

I love the Cybertron line. Seriously it's the best TF line in years, cause I have collected almost every modern version of all my G1 favs. But man, they really screwed up on the names. Galvatron should have been Megatron and vise versa Blurr looks like Blurr and has the name Blurr, but his bio is Kupp Excellion looks like Hot Rod, but Hot Shot is suposed to be Hot Rod :tfgrin since they can't use that name, so why not go with Rodimus :tfgrin for Excellion, even though Excellion is probably one of the coolest TF names ever, they should have called Hot Shot Excellion from the beginning.... *head explodes* *head reforms* There was another one I was ab…

Hey guys. I just got home and while i was out I found the newest starwars TF's Luke Skywalker. His alt mode is an X-wing fighter of classic Star Wars movie fame. Transformation transformation is fairly simple. The nose section of the X-wing turns in to the for the bot mode by separateing down the middle flipping up the rear pannels below the Nosecone pit, and rotateing the ankles 180 degrees. To get his arms out you separte the wings(ie lock spoliers in attack position) You then slide the bottem wing down and rotateing it 90 degrees, and pull out the hands. As for the top wings they simplely fold, and are held together by a peg. The head is exposed via opening the …
