After having to sell my original and 15th anniversary Takara Optimus toys for cash-flow problems last year, I was so happy when Takara Tomy released the Encore line. I bought Optimus/Convoy last week online, and had planned to get Megatron next month. However, when I opened Optimus yesterday, I was disappointed to say the least. Blue paint was flaking off the die-cast parts of his feet, silver paint was randomly splashed across the tops of his lower legs (the blue part) and the back of his head, one of the smoke stacks is missing chrome from the bottom and the right hand silver headlight is not only deformed and squashed, it is also missing some chrome. Back on TFW2005 the people there began to keep track of Crankcases and who were clipped, and who weren't. There are lot numbers on the back of cards, all right next to the paramount logo on the back. Here's a list for Crankcase lot numbers and the last kept numbers of which had intact fingers, and how many of those lot numbers were clipped. I notice with a lot of the G1 Combiners that you can mix and match the arms and legs. Do you try and make them more show accurate or just follow the instructions. I know with my Menasor I just got I made Dead End and Dragstrip the arms and Wildrider and Breakdown the legs like on the DW #6 Decepticon cover. I think it looks much better that way than what the instructions were saying to have it Dragstrip and Breakdown as the arms. If I remember correctly the only ones that didn't have interchangeable arms and legs were Devastator and Predaking am I right? What does everyone else do for their combiners.

when i was younger i collected comics and superhero cards. ive got every marvel universe set, masterpiece and spiderman set out there including their chase cards. i spent mad amounts of money trying to complete those. but those days are over. and then i see things that takara is doing. with wstf, pvc's, minicons and such. if they were released overseas in that manner, i might have given a damn about minicons. those chase ones were all shiney and neat. and theres no telling what rediculous amount of money i wouldv wasted if they were released in such a fashion. i guess what im trying to say is that if hasbro released them like that i think theyd have made some good mon…

Hi, all. Quick question - has anyone had any issues with transformers like the one i'm about to explain. Basically a month ago ordered the superion kit from a seller called Toyspark who's in hong kong. I have ordered from this seller varius times with no problems. However apparently he has just been to the post office after ive complained about not receiving the parcel and he says its been sent back - implying i've sent it back. Its getting frustrating now because royal mail leaves a card if there's been a missed delivery, plus i leave a sign on the door to leave with a neighbour if out. This is the first time this has happened - does anyone have any ideas or sugegstions …

so devastator has 6 parts, but the rest of g1 combiners, when in comparison, have 5. any ideas/reasons why?

Yeah I just picked up an Energon Dreadwing (aka Mirage, aka Tidalwave) at a TRU for $14.99 and the more I looked at it the more I wondered. If Dreadwing was one of the Decepticons who were reformatted into "Sweeps". Maybe it's just but I kinda think the light blue redeco makes it look like a homeage to the G1 Sweeps, but then again it's just me. What do you think?
