Here is the question, I only have enough to get protector or the g3 trailer right now. Protector appears to be the more fun set, but G3 has to be on the edge of being "sold out" permanently. I plan on getting both eventually, but I don't know which to prioritize... fun or rarity. So I have made a poll so you guys can help me decide :D

as the topic says... it's wierd too. i've been getting more g1's recently and i still like them but i just get this feeling it's time to just get rid of them. of course i would still come to this censored site/forum for all my censored tranformers needs. part of me wants to let my kid get into them and maybe let him start his own collection when he gets old enough but i remember the money i've blown on these peices of plastic. i just sold my entire post-g1 collection relizing the amount i bought them for and what i could sell them for. money is getting tighter and when it comes down to it these are just toys. again... i don't know.

So I got my Protector today, and I got this weird piece that looks like a weird square thing with two pegs in it. Anybody have any idea what it is?

Hey folks, a few months back I posted that I was getting back into transformers. Anyway recently I had a stroke (go figure at age 32) and strangely enough my collection has grown from this event in my life. At first it was just my girlfriend getting me some scouts while I was in the hospital, I must admit I normally would not have purchased scout class stuff but they were rather nice and actually helped me in terms of rehabbing some of the lost dexterity in my hand. Hey guys , I had my protector set for a few weeks now , and it feels really solid, except for the arm parts. I'm getting pretty scared of the little tabs that clip under his armpits breaking off. And for the record , I am extremely carefull with all my TF's. Anyone else having the same fear? or even having slight break lines?

So I just got the ROTF Hoist and Mixmaster box set from Toys. A little bit of a late holiday present (as well as Animated Rodimus X 2 ...Yea! ^_^) and found myself not being able to put Mixmaster down! Constructicon colors for the WIN! Glad I never for the regular movie version but now that I have this, I know he would have been a win as well. So the question is now that the holidays are over... ~~What is your dream repaint?~~ For me, all the movie Constructicons from ROTF in Constructicon green! Longhaul and Mixmaster are not enough in my opinion. Having them together I'm now seeing myself buying the complete set...even Demolisher!!

With Wreck-Gar, G2 Prime, Perceptor and others on the horizon it seems that the next wave of toys after these is still a mystery, could be that they're holding back until the movie line comes out, but I'd like to think they're planning one more wave of toys before the initial swarm of Bay-mageddon comes into stores. Whats the going rate on these guys? I need a Soundwave for my collection but all Ive found thus far is a set of four and its a little pricey. Plus all I need is the Soundwave but I cant find it individually. The set of 4 is around $20 but that sounds high IMO. Anyone else care to chime in here?

I'm going to go trade in my busted RtS(is that the right line? lol) Insecticon tomorrow(out of the package, I found out the right knee joint had a badly stressed pin, and I'm afraid it'll break. lol.), and I'm thinking of getting Skullgrin. I've heard quite a bit of hate, though...but most of it seems to be because it isn't old-school accurate enough. I didn't join into the fandom until around Beast Machines, so it doesn't matter to me. Buying for the more interesting colors, really(even if it does make the axe seemingly blander) xD So...any major flaws about the mold I should know?
