Whats the going rate on these guys? I need a Soundwave for my collection but all Ive found thus far is a set of four and its a little pricey. Plus all I need is the Soundwave but I cant find it individually. The set of 4 is around $20 but that sounds high IMO. Anyone else care to chime in here?

Many Transformers collectors have moments in their lives when collecting toys no longer seems relevant, and they give up or sell up to pursue other interests and priorities. Somewhere down the line, the spark re-ignites and those that walked away return to the hobby with renewed vigour, fresh perspective and a more balanced approach. It’s happened to me, and it has also happened to our interviewee this month, someone who has inspired me and has brought enormous joy to me with his return, Ben Munn. Once the curator of the fastest-assembled and most impressive Diaclone Car Robot collection most of us have ever seen, it is still difficult to find photographs that trump those…

It’s time for another Source Blog Interview, and we like to think that as we approach a year’s worth of contributions from our esteemed group of selected interviewees, we’ve offered a nice spectrum of gathered experience and eye-candy across the field of vintage Transformers and pre-Transformers collecting. This month, although we have already covered collectors who focus solely on pre-Transformers, we spotlight a North American enthusiast who is relatively new to the scene and yet has managed to procure some utterly incredible items in that short time. Hopefully the words of Benjamin Davis will offer some insight into how one can step into the prestigious and expensive f…

You just know that if Takara Tomy did Masterpiece Mirage, they’d put out a clear repaint as well. We’ve already had a clear blue BotCon attendee exclusive Classics Mirage, a Takara Tomy Binaltech BT-18 Rijie translucent release through e-Hobby and an all clear Henkei Mirage/Rijie, so Unique DX9 Toys’ decision to repaint D03i Invisible in clear blue should not come as a surprise to anyone. The “Phantom” version is limited to 1000 pieces and follows hot on the heels of their standard Invisible release. Even Less Visible | Source Blog <- CLICK TO READ All the best Maz

http://forums.TFormers.com/talk/index.php?app=gallery&module=user&user=6066&do=view_album&album=1294 Decided to finally print up the custom stickers for a few projects and pretty much completed my classics police sunstreaker and clamp down. I even have the Diaclone Police Sunstreaker on hand that helped me compare. I do hope our friends from Hasbro make official releases. Until they do, I already have mine. Ok so what did I do? Spent a good hour using a combination of nail polish remover and paint thinner to remove the hood decal from US Red Alert for the Sunstreaker one, and decided to just paint the other one all black. I did make so…

Got my SL Convoy and Kicker anniversary set today. Mmmm... shiny. Anyway, I recall someone asking once about the peg size of the swords and who can hold them, I don't remember ever seeing an answer so I'll provide it. The little version of Megatron's Sword can only be held by Kicker, it's pretty small maybe only 3 inches long at the most. The Energon Saber's hilt has two different outside diameters allowing it to be held by Kicker and any Transfomers figure with a standard sized fist peghole.

Something I've noticed checking eBay out for the last 6 months or so is that sellers in Singapore have HUGE stockpiles of MIB and MISB G1 figures, especially ones from Japan. Part of the reason they seem to have such a lasting presence on eBay is probably because they charge such insane buy it now prices that they never sell anything and just keep relisting their inventory, but anyone know just why they have such amazing stockpiles? Almost enough to make a guy suspicious that everything's honest and legit (and there are one or 2 not so expensive figures I'm looking at...n/m, that shipping cost hurts my brain in a bad way).
