Reviews

Post your reviews for action figures, accessories, comics, movies and all Transformers related stuffs. If its really good, we may front page it.

  1. Started by Optimus Timelord,

Let me start by saying this is my first review, so please cut me some slack if there's room for improvement! Anyway, I guess for a lot of people this is a controversial one... there's a school of thought that iGear have sailed too close to the wind (or too close to legal infringement if you prefer) with their Faith Leader and now MP seeker figures. I don't want to get caught up in the rights and wrongs of it, so this is a review of the figure on its own merits... With that said, some complained that Faith Leader felt cheap and lightweight and were perhaps concerned the same would apply to the coneheads. Happily this isn't the case (I believe the reason Faith Lead…

  2. I happened upon this figure and at first I laughed off. Not another Bumblebee. However... to my surprise.. this one is pretty awesome! My review of Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Deluxe Bumblebee! (LOADED with weapons....) www.youtube.com/ebeforeinet www.twitter.com/e_before_i www.facebook.com/ebeforeinet

  3. Started by cliffjumping jazz,

As wave 4 makes its way to retail we're treated to 4 new figures, only one of which is a repaint/remold, AMAZING! Jolt is the only figure of this wave that peaks my interest, let's take a closer look. Jolt's alt. mode is a 2011 concept chevrolet Volt. Details are rather plentiful for a deluxe including the text: VOLT and the Chevy insignias on either end.The color is a nice dark blue that fits well on the vehicle, there is also black spreading from the roof to the trunk area and silver sideview mirrors. Despite having the despised part molded color/part painted setup, it doesn't hurt the figure, because the colors match up well. The vehicle does have pan…

  4. Today I take a look at Magic Square Voice Ripple. Their take on a Legends scale Soundwave ???

  5. Started by Yuyuyami,

BlazeMaster is an interesting transformer. I was lucky to find him the other day, I found him at Target on an end cap hidden by a stack of Buzz Lightyears that hadn't been put on the shelf yet, behind a bunch of Wheelies, Chromias and Skids. He's unique and, despite his shitty arms, hard not to like. Alt Mode: His helicopter mode is impressive in how small and skinny it is. It feels solid and hefty for its size, though the cockpit pieces like to shift around a little bit. He's painted in a nice gold and blue color scheme, though unfortunately the rotor is an absurd white. His rotor spinning gimmick is weak and likes to not work a quarter of the time and the rot…

  8. So last year I tried my hand at video reviewing, and it didn't fare too well. So I decided to see about maybe reviving the lost art of the text and photo review, and set up a new website on which to do it! Here is the website's first (and thus far, only) review, for Classics Prime and his Fansproject provided trailer. (Here is the main page itself.) If anyone feels so inclined, I'd apreciate comments on what you think of this venture.

  9. Started by ExVee,

Hoist is the foregone conclusion. From the moment you find out there will be a Generations Trailbreaker (or cutter, whichever) you know that it's only a matter of time before it gets Hoisted. But I can hardly complain about that. While Trailmix might finish out the 1984 Diaclone car updates, Hoist is another part of piecing together the 1985 lineup, making him no less important.
