I would say this is the greatest Deluxe figure ever made, but the Headmaster gimmick just holds it back enough. It is a fantastic toy period, with a hand-feel during transformation that's a pleasure. Blurr's Titan Master weapon integration, is probably the best in the line thus far. My one regret is I didn't wait for the Takara version, which looks like it just walked off the TV screen.

A lot of folks think Hasbro dropped the ball when they didn't make Groove as a deluxe for Combiner Wars Defensor. And Takara agreed with a mighty slap in the face by making a Groove Deluxe figure! But even Hasbro can own up to a mistake now and then, so they bowed to the inevitable and gave us a Groove as well. If you're on the fence about picking this one up, then watch this detailed review of the figure as the Grim Reaper rides this hog....

Finally, after years of waiting, Hasbro has made a Galvatron figure, that is very faithful to the G1 animation design. Unfortunately it's a headmaster, a Megatron headmaster, but still a headmaster. Transformation is relatively simple and fun, but missing that tactile hand-feel pleasure. Some folks have complained about cannon mode, but I find it very faithful to the classic look. This is the best Galvatron Hasbro will probably put out, so if you're looking to fill out your season 3 cast pick this figure up.

Faster than Blurr on a deadline, the wave 2 of Titan Masters has been released. Brawn and Apeface are new molds and G1 homages, I really like how Apeface has been pulled off. Clobber and Skytread feature repainted drones, and new heads that homage Grimlock and Flywheels. I really like the Titan Masters and feel they're the best bang for your buck thus far in the line. If you can only grab two, Brawn or Apeface are the best with Apeface being the wave standout.

Welcome to my first Titans Return CHILL REVIEW

Here's a little lemon sorbet to cleans the pallet between Titans Return reviews, Power Surge Optimus Prime. The big bot is the central figure in the Weaponizer sub line featuring lights and sounds, that are somewhat hard to control and can go off at random. Transformation is simple, but not simple enough to justify the small sheet of instructions, that are only one sided. Overall the figure looks cool, and thanks to some well placed swivels, can get into some good sword wielding positions. Most collectors will turn their noses up at this figure, but Prime cuts an imposing pose and is a lot of fun.

In this longer-than-normal article, we take a look at the latest from Dx9toys in Gewalt which is their take on a Masterpiece-scaled Blitzwing. It definitely has its high and low points and this takes a look at both ends. Video and written overviews as well as over 20 hi-res images are included. Check it out and let me know what you think. http://kumastyledesigns.com/gewalt-review/ Click the pic below to head over Here are some pics from it:

Windsweeper is an update to the old G1 Triggercon. Unfortunately it uses one of the most overused molds of Combiner Wars; thus out of box, Windsweeper is a floppy mess. Thankfully the figure is meant to be a leg, and holds together in that form. If you're completing Thunder Mayhem Windsweeper is a necessary evil; if you're a die-hard Triggercon collector, you can pass on this figure.
