Here is a spectacular upgrade kit that didn't cost me my first born child. It is very simple, but something I wanted to show off after bashing the GDO Megatron and demanding that Head Robots hurry and make another set for the Megatron. This time I tried experimenting with some paper to make a nicer background than just a cardboard box. It would have worked better if I had some butcher paper and a better box. Anyway, to the review! Alt Mode: Jolt's car mode has an odd charm to it I can't place. Maybe it's the sparkly plastic and paint, maybe its how well it fits together, maybe its how smooth and sleek it is. Whatever it is, Jolt's car mode is excellent, which I find a little odd, because this car isn't the most interesting of designs. From what I've seen these two figures have gained a lot of flack. Or at least Ironhide has. I will offer my two-cents on them. First however I have to confessed I am heaviliy byassed in favour of these figures. When i was a kind of about 6 years old or something I remember watching Transformers in the 80s and there being two characters I desperately loved. First one was G1 Prowl and the other G1 Ironhide. My parents must have paid attention because come that christmas I got the two figures. First I opened Prowl - awesome - couldn't be happier. Then i got to Ironhide - I barely took any notice of the box and didnt even look at the back of it. All i saw was the awesome …

It is probably no secret...he's awful. There was a lot of potential but I couldn't find anything nice to say about this guy. Shocked? Well, take a look and find out why.

Breacher is an awesome little guy with all the complexity of a deluxe, hence why I bent the rules and used this format for something smaller than a deluxe! Sadly he's too small to pull off the kind of connections and plastic tolerances needed for this kind of transformation. He's full of character and really blurs the lines between the Movieverse and the more Classicverse lines we're seeing with Generations and Reveal the Shield. In short he's the best scout released so far since they started with Wave 1 of RotF scouts. Enjoy!

This is good old Captain Modesty himself. Despite being a G1 toy, he still holds up pretty well nearly 30 years later. I got him from liliandfriends.de at an excellent price.
