I've been trying to cut out my KO purchases, but that nice bit of gear with him is making it rather tempting. Was it a BigLots KO purchase, or at another store? yep big lots right there with their ko Onslaught Why? They make better arms when you pose the front lower legs as his lower arms. It's not that, if you look real close at the chopper limbs, I used a rubber band to keep that blue piece from falling off, that is the reasons why I don't like those limbs that much. I used the tanks as the arms to give it that big upper body look. They plug in better as hands or well at least all of the ones Ive had did.

CL Optimus has a G1 axe now. It came with this small KO Hotspot. I got him for the Defensor head for a kit bash. This axe was an added bonus that is actually hidden by cardboard in the package.

nice can that also combine? Oh, no... he is a large PVC action figure, with lots of accessories. Here comes the Hulk! How big is that Hulk!?! He looks like he's at least 4 feet tall judging by the comparison of the couch, window coverings, and wall photo plus the shadow it cast was very large.

You're just bragging I only have two Seekers I only have 5. Starscream, Skywarp, Ramjet, Acidstorm, and a second Acidstorm who will become Thundercracker. I just need another basic seeker, and 2 more coneheads, and I'll have myself the whole set.

How did you do that with his fingers? Or is that just photo editing?

You know that if the UM and Nemi versions sell good they'll do the Prime version too but hopefully they go the Apex armor route with a paint job like on Masterforce. Either way the HiQ figure I have is going into his chest. (looks like there might be room)

Thanks! :D It's been a while since I watched the movie, so I had to look up Ironhide's quote. No, I'm still scared of painting. :emo Why I got him is kind of complicated, but there are two main reasons. 1, A popular mod for him is to carve the central gray piece so it doesn't hit against the bumper. This lets you slide the hips forward more. In addition, you're supposed to carve the top of the crotch piece so the bumper has more clearance. That didn't solve the issue, and carving the top of the crotch doesn't do much because it leaves the hips higher and they hit the bumper then. So I figured out a way to mod the backpack, which lets it swing around and securely clip where I think it was intended to when designed. This lets you slide the hips all the way forward and his head is then flush with the top of the body. That creates ANOTHER problem. His stature was no longer humanesque, and therefore displeasing to the eye. I've posted about this before (with pictures), but basically it causes his head to sit far back while his hips are far forward and his arms are in the middle. H .A ..L So to correct that, you can lean him forward a little. That lines everything up, but causes his head to look down. So I added a ball joint to the head, and moved his hips back a bit so he lines up better. So he still had a carved crotch issue, and I suspected that I didn't even need to carve the middle piece. I found and Ironhide today and took the lower half from it and put it on the upper half of my modded Ironhide. It fits! And now there's not a huge hole in his middle when you look at it from the side. So no carving of the middle piece is needed at all. (If you put his head on a ball joint, it's perfect. If you don't, and still want the hips all the way forward so the head is up that last little bit, only a small amount of carving to the middle piece is needed.) That's lengthy to explain, and if it's not clear I apologize. In a week or so I'll have a guide prepared, and within it you'll find all the different options for display and how to mod him to be that way. ~Matt Booker I haven't bothered with the carving mod 'cause I've been too busy finishing Predaking, next up is Defensor, and then Computron. Then I'll be done with combiners at least for now. To paint your second Ironhide white you need to do it one of 2 ways. One you could take him apart, and paint him, or two you could put him in SUV mode tape off the windows, and paint him then transform him and brush paint the bot mode parts not painted by the spray paint.

I'm guessing the other Ironhide you got is going to be Ratchet. To be honest I'll probably get another Ironhide just to paint him into Ratchet myself just in case the rumors about a U.S. release of Ratchet are false. I mean we found out about Ironhide, and Silverstreak at the same time but the only one of the 2 we have definite confirmation of being repainted for U.S. release is Silverstreak into Smokescreen. Kind of wish we got Ratchet first though the blade side of the gun makes more sense for him.

Did they really even retool anything though? I know they added some stuff for durability, but I've been watching peugh's (spelling?)review and the pics we have and they look the same. I like the fact that they give him a sword like in RID, but it would have been nice if they had done a slight retool to give him a face plate. Beggars can't be choosers, I'm just glad he's getting released. Now all we need is for some Prime lovin. That's the first thing I'm doing to him when I get him.

Pre Ordered, and this time I intelligently pre ordered from BBTS. Now to begin saving. Lets see late December which means probably early January 89.99+ +/-9.00s+h=$98. So 5 weeks from now I'll be ready to pay them. :tfgrin
