  1. I stole mine, but yeah, $25 is well worth it. Also, if you don't have Energon Scorponok or Dark Scorponok, just get it!!!
  2. I was cleaning up and just happened to notice this among the random... Gotta love ironic random
  3. you won't be let down (plus loose ones are fairly cheap)
  4. while i cant personally vouch for skids or sixshot, i have to agree completely that (provided you remove the batteries) scorponok is worthy of TFormers toy hall of fame. while energon was airing he warmed the shelves for quite some time at all of the local toy outlets and i thought he was so ugly. flash forward 5 years, and i buy one on ebay intending to paint it up G1 style, but once in hand i couldn't go through with it because i knew i wouldn't be able to fiddle with it for fear of chipping. eventually i still plan on getting a second one to repaint, but yeah, scorponok, awesome figure. also, i recently found HA barricade and cannot recommend him enough, both modes are solid and theres alot you can do with the robot mode as far as tweaking and posing despite the weird hips. not sure if i will modify because its a big ol' hunk of plastic to cut out, and once you go forth you cannot return. for now until i see more people do it i will leave him as is. :note Skids is a fairly common reissue, but back in the day he was one of the hardest TFs to find. Even today, the bot is a towering bunch of awesome among the cars of that time. Sixshot/Shockblast is hindered by a BFG arm, but in any mode, theres so many pannels and possibilities that make this homage figure both very unique while honoring the source. As for Scorpinok. I loved him since the first time I saw the figure and got him right away when Energon hit. To this day he's still a favorite figure. While surely he can be improved, much like RID megatron, there are truely an endless amount of fan alt options in this figure. All 3 deserve a dirrect shot into the TF hall of fame!
  5. very cool thing about this figure are the combiner ports on the arms. When I had the arealbot black jet (sold it), I use to attach it like a giant gun shield. He was able to pose and support it perfectly :mwahaha Out of all the Energon combiners your right, this is the best figure.
  6. yeah My Hasbro Skywarp is holding up better then any of the other versions of this figure I tried. Glad your box showed up, told you not to worry. Also sorry the bonus' weren't in there. I checked the origional box I tried using and sure enough the 3 mini TF skateboards where still in there. Sorry about that. As for WalWarp. I have him in botmode with the upgrade cape and MP=01 Megatron while holding his crown (Starscream doesn't like him wearing it). Since I recently traded my Greyscream (it's on it's way FF) I took my Takara version and made that my alt mode MP Seeker as it is an awesome jet. I have no doubt that they will do a Hasbro MP Thundercracker, which is why I've come close, but never ordered it. I can wait. As soon as I get, I won't care about Clear Starscream, Sunstorm, or whover else they can make from this. Unless they do a heavy retool and deliver each unique conehead, I'm done with this figure after the eventual Thundercracker.
  7. If you have the stickers why not? It was weird though ripping off the back of the booklet. I don't keep most packaging anymore, but I do my best to file the paperwork (old shoe boxes), so destroying thgat booklet put me at an odds.
  8. thats weird, I had a similar problem multiple times with the leg on the origional.
  9. Great shots yourself man :thumb I don't know about Mudflap but HA skids has a very flat hand, it couldn't grip like that. Gonna take a moment man and say, I enjoy your paintings.
  10. Thats freakin Hilarious! Defies gravity to the max! :rofl Don't ever underestimate the twins! Thanks again man, they're in a good home :thumb To me a sign of a good bot is that it can hang off my beer table for more then a day even with my dog sniffing at them. That held for more the 3 days before I took it down today. Get past the heads people, these are great figures. These are the Deluxes not the HAs
  11. Just a couple fun ones. I love bots that can do stuff like this.
  12. My brother, who never cares about my collection, called me and asked if I was still looking for Skywarp cause he found it for $30 I figure 1 more can't hurt. He even told me he was dropping it off, so I wonder what he needs!?!
  13. How much running around did you do to find that after Optics showed it?
  14. I actualy only had to put one coat on one knee. I figure one day though I'll have to treat the rest (save for the boxy wheel connectors) I wouldn't let anything like that put me off to the figure though seeming as my expensive, official HA BB has a head that falls off by just looking at it. Any Ball Joint on any figure is subject to this. A very quick fix I found on head joints is a piece of paper towel. Drape it over the joint, maybe double it over. Put the head on, trim the waste, and enjoy expendable replacable filler.
  15. the easily fixed downside to Battle Rollar. I only have the origional (wanna change that soon), right out of the box he needed treatment. Once done tough, he more then proves his formatibility :thumb
  16. Uh, just him, or any of us? *gets in line, why not* Query: do they make martini stirrers? Or does one just use a straw? :schin I've seen some pretty nice class stirers. normaly they just use a coffee stirer. As for any drink from booze to coffee shaken is always better, it merges the contents as apose to just swirling them.
  17. MANY! and for 25 cents each, do you think I care!?! That price is so agreable I'd let you burn me with matches :P
  18. 4 Grey Goose martini shakers for $1. Not $1 each, $1 all together. It pays to be nice to the liquor store lady ;)
