  1. Just one more, roll some packing tape sticky side out and pat down the areas that some glass may have scattered. It'll pick up the fragments better than a broom. Last thing you wanna do is step on a stray sliver a month from now.
  2. Think thats bad, last lot I bought got shipped to someoneelse and I got a broken BumbleBee, and some stained beanie babies!!! First and hopefuly last time that ever happed. Seller did refund me in full and told me I could keep the package I got. I hung the beanies with wire from the top of my friends fire pit. That was fun As for todays haul, I picked up all the Classics Ultras, some GIJoes, -Nemesis Enforcer vs Falcon, BarBeQue, Hawk, and a long time favorite Bazooka. Also got the Damaged BB from the battle sceens set and sadly the final volume of the Masters of The Universe Series. I also ordered another SDCC Nemesis Prime and 2 SkyWarps. I'm figuring if Blitzwing is being sighted in mid to west US, by next week he should be in NJ along with Galvatron, that should be good hunting. I'm just pissed that I've got glass shards in my hand. So annoying...... Glad your deal worked out though. And you got to burn your anger. :evil I worked in a custom frame shop for a couple years, if anyone knows how much that sucks, it's Ol' Liege. Take a sponge or rag and wash in one movement in the direction of the cut, be sure it's just one move or else you'll lodge the tiny bits in deeper. If they're realy in there, heat a neddle and pry the bits out. DO NOT use any bacitracin or neosporin untill you're sure the cuts completely clean or else you'll seal in shards as thats basicly a filler for flesh(that would be a cool name for a metal song), then go wrap your self up. Just remember, the big pieces suck, but it's the little pieces that can actualy cause some long term damage.

  4. Got Crossover Venom today. His legs ar a bit bulky, but beyond that an amazing figure in both modes!!!
  5. 2 more DS StarScreams, drove 30miles for them, and an Animated Jazz.
  6. MailMan just brought me another Cybertron Unicron, a Movie Jazz, and another Cybertron Metroplex (been doing some army building)
  7. Looked around today. I found Animated Oil Slick, Slag, and SoundWave. I wasn't gonna get Soundwave, but I wanted LaserBeak as I thought it would be more articulated. Leaving the store I thought about how I didn't realy like this Soundwave, as the alt is a box and the bot looks like a Gorilla. So especialy since LaserBeak can mount on his back, I'm calling them BeastBox and SquawkTalk. Even have him on all fours with the bird on his back. Debating calling Oil Slick ChemLab?
  8. I left my camera at work, but my Nem Primes showed up today(only opened 1 though), I wanted to set something like this up. After all it's very rare I buy the same figure this many times, and each version looks great. I'm skipping the Shattered Glass version though, a crooked slogan and purple aren't enough to make me wanna pay BotCon prices. Now I just want the City Commander set to come out already :tflaugh
  9. Rampage's tank mode is my favorite, and I normaly leave him in it. It's not bulky, cumbersome, can't tip over, is well detailed and show acurate. Actualy my only quam with the figure are the way the beast legs hang off his arms in bot mode. Still he is awesome. Once they got serious about the line, the Beast Wars figures where no joke. They look great, and pretty much all of mine which are 10yrs or older are still holding up realy well. Nice job on that line!
  10. MailMan brought me another Armada Sideways, and a SDCC Nemesis Prime today. Some red would be nice on Prime, but he's still pretty awesome, a fine addition to the Evil Prime line up!
  11. Well whatever, the pics make me want it! Galvadrone who'll be a toady for my dreamed MP Galvatron, yep, all good to me!!!!!
  12. OK, but how come when a building falls the first poeple to have fingers pointed at them are the engeneers? Different scale, same principal. Anyone who's ever built anything can tell you, a hair line imperfection at point A will lead to a drastic problem at point Z which will usualy cause the project to have to go back to point A or be modified extentively. Workers are rarely blamed for an architect's failed dream. Anything designed and built falls subject to this rule. That said, I had alot more pics to upload but the site wouldn't let me so heres a slide, hope you enjoy http://s235.photobucket.com/albums/ee211/D...mview=slideshow I used planks and milkcrates to keep that old school "set up with what ever you can" feel. Nostalgia at it's finest. I will say this though. The set up wasn't as easy as it looks. It took a coulpe weeks to get the placement right, with alot of trial and error in the balancing. Trypticon and Metroplex shared the same large plank for a while till I decided it would be safer to discard that piece and set each base up on it's own tower. It's small scale, but it's also done right. If the origional layout tipped and fell, it wouldn't be the materials problem, or the weight of the figures. It would be mine and mine alone for not thinking every aspect through. The display is solid, it was engeneered properly, which leads to minimal QC issues in the layouts functionality. Although it may look crude, with proper planed backdrops that will be easy to install, this simplistic display will soon look detailed while still being easily modified. It's a job done right, as every one should be.
  13. Here's some new stuff I've started on today. I like track shelves and book cases, but lately I've been having the urge to go old school with my old school. Not many poses, but I hope yo enjoy anyway... the rest are here http://s235.photobucket.com/albums/ee211/D...mview=slideshow
  14. That Shipwreck and Depth Charge pose is so fuggin win! That's awesome! ~Matt Booker Thank You
  15. Well, he WAS an awesome character with two great Alt Mode choices. I think the main reason why we don't have Classics Blitzwing yet is because his G1 transformation basically spelled out how to do a Classics Blitzwing, so he's not a challenge to the engineers the same way Octane and Astrotrain (considering that they changed his train mode) were. Well to be honest lack of challenge to the engineers should be a reason for them to make him not for them not to make him, same with Springer how could they miss the mark so completely both times? His G1 version with more articulation would be great. The engineer's mind craves a challenge. Otherwise it gets stagnant. And even if what I've said isn't true, we can always hope that they're saving the best for last. You know your talking about the same people who went from the intricate complicated movie line straight to Animated right!?! Yes. And the Animated line is BEAUTIFULLY engineered, even if the plastic quality is lackluster. Simplicity is underrated. The true engineer can solve the most complex problem with a simple solution and he will find ORGASMIC joy in having done so. Hey the simple answer is normaly the best, but these things look like they're made out of bubblegum, and fall far short of the mecha they're supose to be. The transformations are alright on some, but the lackluster designs and poor joint issues make me wanna smack these engineers upside the head and tell them to be orgasmic on there own time, cause what comes after that, yep, a sandwhich and a nap. Leave it at that and the next line will probably be a Happy Meal toy in a Leader box. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cool! You have Construx! Those things were awesome! You could build the ultimate Transformers base with those things. I did in my old apartment, I had a crane, turret base for Fort Max, the rest of Metroplex's Autobot city, repair bays a store, everything!!! Sadly this apartments toy room isn't big enough for that though. But yeah, Construx are awesome, and you can buy them by the pound on Ebay. Very recommended for cheap easy display materials. Simplicity at it's complex finest. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Oh, and here...

  17. Here's some set ups, I'll add more later. for all your toy stunt needs
  18. I am very happy I am not the only person who thought of this!!! You know you can also take WingSaber and put his gun parts on Energon Omega's claw arm, and the wings on his legs. I'll take a pic soon. Either way, Energon Prime and WingSaber look alot better in reverse gun mode to me, yeah you loose the hands, but you gain giant smoke stacks. Besides, if your built like that, you probably wont be needing any hands. :tfevil
  19. imma have to borrow this pose when i get my grim :clap My Grimlock, if you care. (sorry if this seems like thread clutter, but sharing pics is one of my favorite parts of this hobby, and I don't know how to condense posts here)
  20. You get Jayce and The Wheeled Warriors I'd feel envy, but it's out on DVD now so... MASK though, thats on DVD too(don't have those yet), but still, it's awesome that you can watch it on regular TV. (I also recently added TerrorTank to the line up, and thats an AirRaiders comand center in the backround)
  21. Why'd I leave my camera at work!?! Anyhow, here's a few pics on file, hope they hold you over.
