I got mine yesterday for that much too. Sideswipe and Silverstreak look really good. Ironhide should have been a darker shade of red, but it's not too bad. The one thing that I really didn't like was the blue face on Ironhide. There is absolutely no sense to why Hasbro used this color. One I first transformed Ironhide into robot mode, I thought, "Why!?" But then I got out the silver paint marker. I applied some of the silver paint from the marker using a fine line paint brush, and presto! I feel much better about Ironhide right now and any desire that I had to buy the Henkei version is gone.

I like how Hasbro just decided to give Ironhide a blue face for absolutely no reason. Sometimes I don't sympathize with fan angst, but sometimes I do.

Actually, you could be spot-on there... Think about it, why waste money on new paint when you could use the leftovers from the stuff that sucked?

That's a fun joke, but the silver paint used on the grill and the side edge of the truck mode says otherwise.

 

 

Wait a minute. :schin The silver on the sides of the truck mode is where Tomy is putting the "G1" yellow. However, painted silver, one can assume that those areas are stepping platforms for getting into the truck. Tomy's yellow stripes are, well, nothing but an attempt to copy the stripes on G1 Ironhide.

I havn't seen any of these yet, but I'm hoping they show up before Wal-Mart raises their prices back to normal on deluxe class. Would be sweet if they put out these and wave 4 Animated before the sale is over, but I know thta's wishful thinking.
