Supposing this is even real- they haven't really solved what was fundamentally wrong with megatron the first time. The cleaner stronger lines make him look a little less like he just walked out of a paper shredder/landfill- but this is still one of the worst designs of the movies. (although he did look a bit better moving around in the movie than he did on paper)

 

My bigger issue is just this- will Megatron's revival be a major part of the plot of each of these movies now? Will Megatron come back at the end again for just long enough to get his ass kicked again?

 

I have such a love/hate relationship with these movies.

I'm hoping for it to be a fake.

 

Looks like a serious step down from the first movie Megatron.

 

That and the head sculpt immediately makes me think Spawn. More so than Megatron anyway.

We're still pretty early on for that to be "final", but if it's real it's a good indication of the direction they're planning to go. I doubt he'll be so droid like with the tread feet after such a great looking Brawl design. The gun arm is definitely throwing a bone to the G1 fans that missed it from the first movie. I could easily see that as the base for the "voyager" version with something more complete in "leader" class.

Let's hope they come up with something better than that pile of poop. if that's Megatron or Galvatron he should look strong and heavy duty, not elegant and flimsy. I want a big-ass cannon that fires blast that can decimate an entire city block. That's the Megatron I think we all want to see. The Allspark could have given him that power and more.

are you people kidding this looks absolutely horrible. It better be fan made. I would rather see barney transform into galvatron, well maybe not that extreme. But this is really crap.

It looks fake to me, but if it's real I like it. Clearly indicative of a tank alternate mode, and the fusion cannon is a nice touch. Remember, when his body was dropped into the water at the end of the first film, Megatron's arm and leg were pretty much torn off, so maybe the spindly arm and tread feet are supposed to make up for that.

 

Still, though, it doesn't really look like the other movie designs. Nor does it look like it could transform logically. But I wouldn't mind being proven wrong.

still looks as nasty as the first movie its still a no no from me im not impressed at all with the robots....they dont look like transformers to me.. now if they were to use the designs from the henkie univers then id pay a ton to see it but i can dream... it would be nice to see a beast wars type animated version of them thow..

The quality of the image looks lesser than the rest of the concept art. it is because of this that i doubt it is official
