hey im all for the constructicons being in the movie, but the colors selection and adding another construction vehicle is just plain stupid, we'er talking straight k.o colors here. if they where all yellow of green then i wouldnt be to harsh and when did the const. EVER have a 7th member??

I'm sure ther will be at least 75 repaints of the toy!

 

So whatever color you like they will sell it and everyone will be happy!

 

I will get the all Green Repaint.

 

Maybe this DVD will even have a Super Special Feature were you can pick and choose the colors of all the bots before you watch the movie to help promote all the 130,000 repaints they will try to sell after this movie!

The look of Long Haul is impressive. I always thought of him as the strength of the team. Moving on, having a combiner team is wonderful, it's the next step in the Transformers lore. If they are going to have an Autobot combiner team in movie 3, I hope it's Defensor, and not the Superion, cause a land combiner is more realistic than an "Air team" combiner.

 

I just hope they don't call Dev., Bruticus. Wouldn't fit.

Hmmm...I'm inclined to disbelieve anything nowadays until I'm sitting in the theatre watching the flick itself...BUT...that robot mode looks pretty nice. Not that I'm "believing" based on how cool I think he looks, but he does have that TF Movie asthetic, plus it seems like about time for stuff to start "officially" leaking. I guess we'll wait and see!

 

On the constructicons concept in general...I don't care how many combiners are on the team, it'd just be awesome to see. Will they link up, or integrate into one another to transform into tier gestalt form? Either way, the process will probably involve weird electromagnetic energy pulling the seperate 'bots together. I just can't see them driving up on top of one another. Maybe they all have hidden rocket booster type thingies hidden in their vehicle modes? Maybe they get help from drones?...naw, stupid! As for color: I really don't care if they are all in one unified color scheme. True, I'd get the chubs if they were all purple and green (wheeee G1!!!), but eh...I can live with all different colors. Besides, someone mentioned earlier about a gazillion toy repaints, so chances would be good we'd eventually see a classic color set of toys.

 

I know folks ahve been yammering whether or not combining Constructicons can be done for quite soe time. Whether it's true or not, you must admit, passing up the special effects orgie that is a giant robot forming out of a bunch o' smaller ones in a live action movie would be a fool's game! Please let it be true!

Michael Bay has commented on the image on his own forums before.

 

Somebody brought it up and Michael Bay wrote, "Cool, maybe for Transformers 3."

 

As for the Dinobots, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman have already flat-out denied it.

 

They didn't say it wouldn't ever happen they just said they couldn't figure out the why they would be dinos. So if they did figure that out then they would put them in. As for Bay saying cool maybe for TF 3 did you ever think maybe after he said that he might have gone to the writers with the pic, and said fit this in the second movie. I want to totally surprise the fans since I said cool maybe for 3 so I'm going to give it to them in 2 instead.
