There is one thing I never understood the movie, since Unicron was a legend kind of like a urban myth told countlessly, how the heck did the Autobots even KNOW what or who it was? Remember he was immediately identified when someone forget who, said "look Morbowles (sp) it's UNICRON!" No one in the TF universe had ever even see him before and then they suddenly know what this monsterous thing is? I never got that, especially when you factor in Armada and the comics, no one knew what Unicron was or believed it even existed.

I think that word about Unicron had been spread by Primacron by then, but had not yet reached Cybertron. As for Armada and the comics, even G1 comics, those are different continuities.

Arblus and Kranix were not Transformers from Cybertron, they were natives of the planet Lithos. Kranix explained to Kup and Hot Rod who Unicron was when they were imprisoned on Quintessa. After this conversation took place, Unicron was not mentioned again(at least not by the Autobots) until Hot Rod asked where Galvatron was and Wreck-Gar announced "and the answer is, UNICRON." Bumblebee also never mentioned Unicron by name, as he stated something like "this thing, just tore the first moon to shreds," or something along those lines after Unicron munched the first moon.

Snarl appeared very briefly as Galvatron, Cyclonus and the Sweeps returned to Autobot City for Magnus and the Matrix. If you blink during this scene, you will miss him.

yeah, unfortunately you don't see him again in the movie. I tell ya, the dinobots got no respect in the G1 cartoon. They reduced them to the comic relief after the movie. But at least they kick ass in the comics.

imho the movie was great i laughed, i cried i laughed some more, but love it or hate it you have to respect it if for nothing else it was the great orson welles's last movie he made(no one else could have done unicron as well as he did)

I don't care about all the flaws listed here, I love this movie in spite of it's imperfections. I loved Spock as Galvatron, too bad his voice in season 3 made him sound like such a wus.

Okay, okay...I just want to knw why so many people are pickin on the music.......HELLO!! 80's movie = 80's music soundtrack! Which I happen to think is great, especially the scene where Op shows up in Autobot City, Kup & HotRod fight the squid on Quintessa and the Junkion attack sequence......'Dare to be stupid' is the ultimate theme for the Junkions!!:thumb Anyway, that music really can't be judged by today's standards....unfortunately, it's dated.... you have to be in that frame of mind to appreciate it fully....

the scene on the shuttle where Brawn, Prowl, Ratchet and Ironhide buy it gave me nightmares for years.

Me too! I walked out of the theater so depressed. Do you think we could get some kind of class action suit going :tfhuh

INSOLENT DOG!!! :tftounge

But seriously, With all the parent groups trying to ban movies and such that's not funny.

As for the movie, Yes I know Prime died and so did megatron, starscream, Prowl, Ratchet, Ironhide, ect. But in my humble oppion that is what made this movie Unbelieveable. Cause every movie is oh happy happy joy life is love and rainbows and... *CRASH Burn kill*

But in this movie was different. Yeah the goodguys won but not without a HUGE price. Just like with GI Joe they killed Duke but the parents had them change it to Duke "retiring", killing any real impact the movie had. even My Little Pony suppostly had something in it that the parents demanded that they change. The TF is the only one that the parents were never able to get ahold of and I for one am Grateful.

Am I the only one who enjoyed the scene where the Autobots were trying to outrun the Junkions to Weird Al's "Dare to be Stupid," that scene was great. But the dancing at the end was quite odd.
