Starscream, Leader of the Decepticons

Recommended Posts

If Starscream was in command, the other Decepticons would rebel, destroy SS, and then get beaten by the Autobots because Decepticons aren't the greatest at teamwork

I have to agree with everybody else. Starscream is an awesome character and a decent warrior, but if he had ever become leader for longer than five minutes (like in the movie,) then he would have quickly found out that leadership isn't always fun, and he'd have gotten a one way trip to 'ghostly free floating spark' status, (also like in the movie.)

in other words, Screamer's gotta b careful of what he wishes for or else it's RIP Starscream

Yep. Transformer leaders just don't seem to last long. How many times has Prime died now? Good thing for 'ol Screamer that his spark is indestructable!

He was a transparent ghost in G1 and a floting spark in BW

Starscream doesn't have the right mind set to lead the Decepticons. His ego and careless ations would be their dowfall in no time. He had no vision, no long term goals.

Now Shockwave could do it. No extra emotion and a strict military mindset. Heck he controlled Cybertron for 4 million years while the other TFs were snoozing.

and got his hand choped off by a bunch of fembots.

I don't think they'd last too long with Screamer makin orders. He doesn't have a very good track record in positions of power. I can think of a ton of different times he's blown it. But then again, what Megatron uses for a brain is no better =P

Megatron is a Creative genius..... He kept the cons alive on dwindaling energon suplies. Starscream would never think of causeing natural desasters and harnesing the kenetic motion.

I think Starscream wouldn't do well as leader, no long term plans and besides, he didn't have near enough power to fight Prime in battle. In G1, it seemed a custom for the leaders to do battle as they were equally matched. I always thought that Megatron only kept Starscream around was because of him being a scientist. Somebody had to come up with the technical knowledge for each device or scheme that Megs cooked up. No other con had those skills except maybe Soundwave. As for who may have made another good leader, I say Shockwave. Very logical, very ruthless and he did hold power on Cybertron during the 4 million years so he's experienced.
