If only Hasbro had called Pixar instead...

I reiterate that Pixar is wasted on Transformers...and this time add that you're kidding yourself if you think Pixar would even take on an existing property when they constantly get to create from scratch their own properties with as much brand recognition as Transformers.

Hasbro calling Pixar would be like me calling a girl in high school:

Hello?

Is Pixar there?

This is Pixar.

Oh, hey, Pixar. This is Hasbro.

Oh. Hi, Hasbro...

Hey.

...

...

So...why are you calling?

Oh. I just...I just wanted to say I thought Finding Nemo was really awesome.

Thanks.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Was it hard to, you know, do the lighting, um, underwater and stuff?

What do you mean?

Well, you know, with the sun and the depths and refractions from, like, waves and stuff. Must've been hard to control.

It was a cartoon, Hasbro.

Yeah, no, I know, I just...well, it was cool.

Thanks.

...

...

So, I was wondering...

Yeah.

I've got this thing I'm trying to make a movie out of. It's about these robots, and, I was wondering...cause your movies are always so awesome...I was wondering.

Hasbro

Yeah?

My mom's calling me. Can we talk later?

What? Oh. Yeah. Yeah. You could call me back or we could talk at school tomorrow or--

Yeah. Okay. Bye.

*click*

Oh, okay, bye then.

Pixar does cartoons. ILM does live action. And ILM's work on Transformers was mind blowing.

Wait, so you guys would have wanted a "G"-rated Pixar Transformers movie instead? I thought we were complaining about how childish our kids' (whoops) very, very, adult- toy franchise was being treated.

Silly DN, don't you know the Perfect Fan Balance Equation is less masturbation jokes and complex robot designs in the theatrical movie and more dark, gritty realism showcasing the horrors of intergalatic civil war in the show on Cartoon Network?

I was arguing against Pixar, FTR.

But seriously critiquing this movie would be like reviewing McDonalds in a food magazine. You kinda don't go to McDonalds expecting "cuisine."

Point. It's just that, for the first viewing at least, you don't know whether you're going to be getting a four-course steak dinner or half a pack of reheated greasy McNuggets.

I don't order mcnuggets and expect charcoal briquettes either.

Jesus Christ, would you just shut up about it already.

Is there a way to ignore people on this board so it will block out their posts for you? I'm a member of a football board that does that.

I've blocked John 14:6 already! It's fun.

And I was just about to offer you a free MP Skywarp, but now you can't read this. Oh well...

He can if I quote it. :mwahaha

*provided he's not ignoring me, too*
