Orion Pax was a puss.

Are you Bodycount's brother or are you related un any form? :tfhuh

DW for me. Least you see prime make mistakes early on in war within.

I Really enjoyed the Cartoon 'ORIGIN' episode when I was younger. It gave Optimus a history and a strong Motive for fighting the DECEPTICONS.

DREAMWAVE has done a top notch job revitalizing these Icons (especially Prime) for their illustrated story. The DW comics are great at giving real Depth to these Characters, both good & evil, that so many of us have come to Idolize.

I've never read "War Within". What was Prime's origin there? :tflaugh

I've got to go back and re-read the Marvel and DW comics plus watch "War Dawn" again. I'll vote after I've reviewed and done my homework.

Just as an aside: "War Dawn" premiered on Christmas day, 1985.

Was never a really big fan of the G-1 cartoon. Back in the 80's/90's it was the Marcel comics for me. That, to me, is still THE continuity. However, I have to admit that I think DW War Within series beat anything Marvel did about Prime's origin. It was more flushed out -- which is logical, since WW was a story in itself, while Marvel only gave us short bursts of info.
