Rather than asking for free toys I'd say look at what you can offer others. Is there anything in your local stores that may interest people here that you could trade?

See if you can negotiate deals with others. For example, if I get Premium Jazz I'm willing to sell you mine at half the price of a Deluxe plus shipping (sorry, but you gotta pay for that, unless you wanna fly down here and do a COD pickup :P).

 

Sometimes people can give you a discount of you buy several items off them. It means that you spend more in the short term but less in the long term because each individual item gets cheaper.

 

Learn the art of haggling but without necessarily being too cheap. You want to be thrifty rather than a cheapskate - the difference being that you want to spend your money wisely and get good value for your money rather than trying NOT to spend any money at all.

 

Nothing is free, but bargains can be found. :)
