by the time they release wave one season 3 will be out already

Way to go Hasbro! Give those scum sucking scalpers the edge that they've soooo desperately needed. Fools. :roll

You ain't kiddin'. Have you seen the eBay scalper prices?

The first wave is on June 22 as stated in the PDF report.

Until the mean time is there any cool fans that are in Cincinnati that could hook a few fans here in California up?

I'll pay the cost of the toy plus the shipping for a voyager starscream, please Message me.

Thanks in advance. smiletf.gif

Don't hold your breath. No one's even trying to help out their fellow collectors with this. I've asked on two different boards, and got nothing, plus I have a friend in LA with friends in Ohio that wouldn't even help him. This Animated debacle further proves that all of us TF fans are just selfish and don't consider anyone else, so the instinct is "Ah, screw 'em."

I'm growing sick and tired of this whole TF thing, and no I'm not kidding. (Yes, the toys, shows and movies included.)

Well, I dunno if I'd go that far. I initially felt the same way as you. Although my reasons aren't entirely personal. I am just wanting to get my hands on some figures to post some detailed reviews for this site. However, after 2 postings and a couple of PMs I have only received one response.

You have to consider several things. First, these people are going there for their personal enjoyment. They could be unfamiliar with the area or maybe don't even have personal transportation. Second, for those that may live there, do they have resources to spend $60+ to sell back? Do they have $4/gal to spend on gas to go on the hunt for someone else? Do they have the time?

I admit, it is frustration, especially to the people who don't live in or around the Cincinnati area. However, I wouldn't go half cocked saying TF collectors suck for that. They're humans like we are, and they have limitations. I am just thankful I found at least one person who could take time out of his schedule to help me out. It's all one can ask for in the end.

To a certain extent, I agree with you. On the other hand, I've noticed that the fandom has become more selfish as time goes on. Not just in this instance, but overall. If it's not one thing, it's another. This was just the little push I needed to finally rethink the whole shebang.

It's blot like this that makes me consider packing in collecting after universe.

I couldn't blame you. I mean, when does it stop?

Don't get me wrong, I love my collection, I really do, but after all of the space problems, monetary investment and loss of time...they end up being glorified and expensive dust collectors.

I have all of my Armada, Classics, Cybertron and Energon figures boxed up and put away in storage. I just don't have the room for them anymore and it makes me feel like it's pointless and a waste of money to have them when they not even being used. Then I remember that I bought 'em for sentimental reasons and can't find the push needed to cull the herd.

I did it once before when I got rid of my G1/G2 collection, but I only traded it in for RiD/Car Robots figures. One vice for another.

Maybe it's time to cull the herd again and keep only what I want and part with those I'm iffy about. ...how do you draw that line after all that's been spent?

So yeah, I think it's either coming to an end sooner or later for me (but not until after Animated both movie sequels and Universe are in my grubby hands.) It's a shame...I hate feeling this way.

I got rid of over 120 figures last september... it was a great feeling.

I'd kinda like to get that Green Van dude... they have em all up on the Hasbro website but then the fine print says ships in august

:tflaugh "Green van dude?"

Bulkhead

I am glad I just went ahead and preordered what I wanted from waves 1 & 2 off of HTS.

:internet :animated :internet

i am sure they are gonna push up the street date AFTER botcon

but the rarity of the toys in Cincy will make them sell like hotcakes and boost hasbro sales
