I hope Thunder Kracker and SkyWarp make it to the big screen this time around. Prowl would be a nice addition to the Autobots.

The problem is, how do you do them? They can't be an F-22 like 'Screamer, because different outlandish colour schemes to tell them apart won't work. So each would have to be a different type of jet. Honestly, I would rather not see the other two seekers if it means more screen time for more important Decepticons like Soundwave, Shockwave, or whoever else they decide to bring in.

I wouldn't mind them showing up, particularly if they're just background warriors like they were in the show, anyway. Different jets would be the way to do it.

There are three types of characters, as I see it:

1) Characters you want to be in the movie and have some degree of direct impact on the plot. (Prime, Megatron, Soundwave, Grimlock).

2) Characters you want to be in the movie so you can see them look cool and get a cool toy out of it - plot relevance would be icing on the cake, but it wouldn't destroy the movie if they have nothing more than a cool fight scene. This would probably be the largest category for all fans. (Barricade, Bonecrusher, Devastator, Additional Seekers/Dinotbots, Ravage, Laserbeak, Hound, Mirage).

3) Characters you want to keep as far away from the movie as possible - they can appear as "toy only" characters in the movie line without ruining your day, but that's where it ends. (Unicron, Primus, Wheelie, The Seacons)

The other seekers were redundant characters, let's face it. They wouldn't stand out in a movie because they don't have any other way to stand out besides a different color scheme.

plus if there was no mass shifting, you can bet there will be no "sky warping" and I really don't want to hear about that for the next 2 years

OMFG He so totally DID warp! Didnt you see in the scene right before Prime threw the Ipod delivery Truck at the Taco Bell dog he was there in the background - but right after the impact - Skywarp is gone.

Then on the reverse shot - he's there again-

IF he didn't warp then where did he go? Huh? HUH? Where?

Or being different jets. I imagine by the end of the movie franchise, we'll get some big battle scenes with multiple Transformers, their names known only to geeks on the internet or the kids buying their toys.

A Decepticon air strike with Thundercracker, Sky Warp, Dreadwing, Hooligan, Vortex, etc. would be the sort thing they'd fit into. But other than populating battle scenes, yeah, they're redundant.

:lol

Shenanigans. Not believing snot until something comes directly from Hasbro's or Paramount's mouth.
