Wait, I've just read the article where it mentions the new BT, and it says;

"The quality is still the same, but appparently the figures are going to be released in smaller, more collectable size" (The article uses a word "Downsize") WTF

And there you have it, and even know i took it good, i'd appreciate it if you didnt say im 200% BS. No offense taken for now but maybe in the future u can wait to see what the facts are. But like i said no worries man, hope this helps bro :)

I'd be pretty surprised if they were downsized below 1:24th. I'm torn on my opinion of this. On the one hand I want them to go with my alts/BT's on my shelf, but on the other hand, it would be amazing to see them at 1:48th scale or een 1:32. I guess if they down size them, the smaller the bretter. I'd love to see them the size of original autobots, although I'm not sure I could transform them...

I think RID Autobot Bros-size is the absolute smallest they could get and still be transformable... and the RID cars were still a b*tch to transform. Alts would look pretty cool sitting on RID Ultra Magnus, though.

:pfx

the i've been wanting to do that or get a 1:24 car hauler for a while now but haven't been able to find one...

the movie bots look pretty good in RID UM but they are just a little too big...

I still want the new Jazz. Convoy would be cool if hes metal IMO

"The quality is still the same, but appparently the figures are going to be released in smaller, more collectable size" (The article uses a word "Downsize")

I wonder if by "smaller, more collectable size" they're talking about the numbers to be released and not the physical dimensions?

I doubt it, since the words "more collectible" would make sense in reference to a smaller item, not a smaller quantity.

However, if the price doesn't go down from normal BT retail, "more collectible" is going to be a moot point.

Not to mention the WHAT THE HELL color schemes.

I think "more collectable" could go either way, as in less of them produced makes more of a collector's item.

It also gets around two things, the cost of reducing the mold size (which just seems like it would cost too much for a line of old-ass repaints) as well as the fact that the last several BTs didn't sell well in Japan (so reducing the number available would side-step this as well.
